The only reason leftists proclaim that the IRS scandal isn't a scandal is because they actually approve of the IRS targeting conservative groups.

The fact of the matter is, if there was a (R) President in the White House, and there was a report of the IRS purposely targeting liberal organizations like Planned Parenthood, gay-rights activists, or the Black Panthers, liberals would be fuming and crying racism.

But apparently, intolerance and racism is perfectly acceptable as long as it targets conservative groups.

The real scandal is the changing of the law written by Congress by the IRS in 1959. There should be no tax free status (or non disclosure of donors) for any group engaging in politics.
