If Ford makes a car in Mexico and sends it here, there is a tariff payed by the importer…which in this case is Ford or whomever is importing the vehicle. They pay tariff. It is someone in the US. The USA. The United States of America….paying the tariff. Not Mexico.

And the importer either absorbs the added costs (doubtful) or passes that cost onto the consumers who are the people of the US. The USA. The United States of America.
