I agree that employers are partly to blame. But, I don't think they would do much to stop it. They would just offset their losses by price increases and it would balance out -- market solution.

A. Employers have money and that means clout. They would NOT let that happen.

B. If they did by some crazy fluke of fate not oppose that...the price increases that wages jumping so friggin high would cause would be staggering.

No one is seriously suggesting deporting every illegal in the country but deporting those who have committed violent crimes should not be an issue nor should wanting the border security at level where people can't just sneak across at their convenience.
