I'm all for a black nationalist party and a homosexual party, that way each group can piss away their votes and let real americans decide who runs the country.

However it wouldn't be pissing away their vote though.

In Germany you need to have 5% to get into parliament OR you need to win a FPTP seat. Now, a homosexual party could join forces with another party that might get them over the 5% threshold, or 3% is quite popular too, and then they would have power in parliament. Seeing as now party would get 50% of the seats, then a coalition would need to be formed.

If you look at Germany, in the past the Greens and the FPD and other smaller parties have actually got into government.
