MUSKOGEE — Two Muskogee women accused of beating a 5-year-old so severely that he suffered two strokes while in a hospital were arrested Tuesday on charges of child abuse and neglect.

Any child abuse is a tragedy- and I hope these women are convicted and face long prison times.

What has any of that to do with 'Qweers'?

When a Christian couple beats their children to death- do you then oppose Christians adopting children?
When a white couples beats their kids and puts them in the hospital- do you then oppose whites from adopting?

What I am really wondering- is why you suddenly noticed child abuse- now- in this case? Because unfortunately cases like this- where parents beat their kids severely enough to put them in the hospital- are far too common- but this is your first thread EVER on the issue.

SARASOTA, FL (WTXF) - Two parents from Florida face child abuse charges after police say they starved their four-year-old twins –a girl and a boy – and beat their six-year-old son.
According to the Daily Mail, 27-year-old Kimberly Haygood and Anthony Jones’ twin boy was found to be so underfed that he allegedly weighed the same as an 11-month-old. They also report that he “looked like a skeleton.”
Detective Megan Buck said that he was taken aback by the state the child was in.
“His body was skin and bones,” he said.
Haygood and Jones are accused of abusing the children at their Sarasota, Florida home according to the Daily Mail.
The media outlet reports that all three children were “extremely malnourished and dehydrated” according to police. Police also say they found scars on the two boys that were consistent with being beaten by a belt.
According to the six-year-old, who police say had multiple “severe” scars; their father would hit the twins when they soiled themselves.

The sad fact- the very sad fact- is that if there is a thread here at USMB about child abuse, it will almost always be a thread about a child abused by alleged homosexuals- even if months and months go by where all of the child abuse in the news is by apparently hetero parents.
