This is a media-culture vignette about immigration-reform and Internet mail-order-bride murders and was inspired by Green Card and The Contender.

Since it's overly-political, I didn't post it in the Writing section of USMB, but what do you think?

What does our traffic-conscious U.S. President Donald Trump make of new age political cartoons?

"American movie-star Leo DiCaprio and Internet-blogging Ivy League professor and self-proclaimed 'democracy-vigilante' Ajay Satan were studying the sociological patterns in the 21st Century under 'TrumpUSA' regarding Internet mail-order-brides from Europe and Asia. Leo and Ajay were evaluating new age crimes/murders involving mail-order-brides seeking residence-permits in America by marrying American men who were legal residents. Apparently, a handful of American men were accepting Internet mail-order-brides from Europe and Asia and then murdering them when they reached the USA (as some deranged/deviant anti-social gesture against democratic immigration policies). Leo and Ajay decided to go on a special 'demon exorcism mission'."

"Leo and Ajay decided to make two basic pencil/stick-figure drawings of the Marvel Comics characters Scorpion (Mac Gargan) and Iceman (Bobby Drake). Scorpion was a villainous mutant terrorist (with a scorpion-like venomous tail and body) symbolic of modern fears about urban crime, while Iceman was a valiant element-manipulating urban superhero comprised entirely of ice and hence representing Earth's splendor. Leo and Ajay wanted Scorpion and Iceman to be 'pulp-comics' and 'political-cartoon' diplomats of new age pluralism-politics and immigration-policy evaluations by the Trump Administration. When Leo began presenting Scorpion in the media and Ajay began blogging about Iceman on the Internet, the two were introduced to each other by Rush Limbaugh. Leo and Ajay struck up an unlikely partnership."

"Well, when Leo and Ajay began working on pro-democracy blogs together about immigration-reform on the Internet, Leo's actress-friend/celebrity Jennifer Connelly, set to star in the new anticipated Top Gun patriotic sequel starring super-celebrity Tom Cruise, wanted to join their immigration and mail-order-bride 'mission' by providing a pencil-drawing of the Marvel Comics superheroine Scarlet Witch. Scarlet Witch represented American values regarding hospitality and mysticism, and Jennifer wanted to use the comics-heroine to talk about the view that mail-order-bride services had changed drastically because of modern networking technologies/communications and globalization politics and was therefore much more 'mystical.' Leo and Ajay loved the idea, so they incorporated Jennifer's Scarlet Witch ideas into their immigration-reform themed blogs."

"A comics writer/artist named William Gibson, who was part of Archangel Comics, saw Leo and Ajay's blogs about immigration-reform and wanted to work with them (and Jennifer) about a new series of comics-tales about Scorpion, Iceman, and Scarlet Witch working together as a team to battle the Marvel Comics terrorist-supervillain Demogoblin. Demogoblin was a jet-glider soaring pumpkin-bomb throwing freak who represented pure malice towards governance. Gibson wanted Demogoblin to serve as a 'Devil's Advocate' in these new comics-tales, offering ideas about the 'allure of murder' in a modern world overrun by disorganized traffic."

"Leo and Ajay decided to record some of their propaganda-ideas about immigration-reform onto a vintage 1980s audio compact cassette. They called this recording the Media Tape. Leo presented this tape to his film-maker friend and media-icon Steven Spielberg who was working on a new film about Italian-American crime-syndicates in old New York and how they impacted immigration. Spielberg was then introduced to Gibson who presented the immigration-paranoia themed comics-tales involving Scorpion, Iceman, Scarlet Witch, and Demogoblin. Spielberg immediately began work on a new immigration-paranoia themed film (with Gibson's organized comics-tales) called Coming to the INS."

"Spielberg's film featured Connelly as the older sister of Scarlet Witch, a good-witch named Hazel, who wanted to offer oracle-like advice to Scorpion, Iceman, and Scarlet Witch as they tackled the insidious Demogoblin who wanted to wreak havoc and create social paranoia regarding the murder of Internet mail-order-brides from Europe and Asia. Demogoblin would use these murder-crimes to create hysteria regarding the complete turmoil in immigration and modern global traffic, thereby creating a good deal of cynicism towards TrumpUSA. Hazel would offer some sanitizing sanity amidst all this 'immigration-madness'."

"Part of the film Coming to the INS, would involve an imaginative evaluation of NASDAQ and how communication and commerce technologies of the new age created great fortune-fantasies about starry-eyed immigrants coming to the USA in search of the proverbial American Dream. Demogoblin was therefore creating hysteria about Internet mail-order-bride murders, offering more nihilistic thoughts about the deep impact on technology being used as toys. The film was being produced by Spielberg's film-company DreamWorks. NASDAQ storylines in the film would remind audiences of the shock of 9/11."

"Spielberg's film was a huge hit among American audiences, and it inspired many democracy-minded chats on the Internet, which thrilled Leo and Ajay (and Jennifer too!). Leo and Ajay decided to start blogging about the commercial value of online computerized Battle-Chess video-games between online chess-players who could reference the competitive chess games as symbolic of new age American idealism towards online networking and conferencing. Leo and Ajay tweeted things like, 'Battle-Chess games online remind us of the special enchantment with human networking in this age of Facebook-yoga imagination and pedestrian-IQ dialogue.' Were they right? Was the Internet a vehicle for great pedestrian fitness?"

"Gibson meanwhile began work on a series of comics-tales about Evil Supergirl (an anti-heroine) killing mail-order-brides before psychotic American men murdered them. Evil Supergirl wanted to be an 'anti-vigilante,' and her message was not unlike the messages disseminated in American history by Old West 'anti-heroines' such as Peal Hart and Madam Vestal. Gibson's Evil Supergirl tales gained a cult-following, and he told Leo and Ajay that Evil Supergirl would be the diplomat of immigration-paranoia."

"When the American super-celebrities Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise wanted to produce a film-adaptation of Gibson's comics-tales about Evil Supergirl killing Internet mail-order-brides, Leo, Ajay, Spielberg, and Jennifer wanted to be part of the project but they were excluded by Hanks/Cruise who wanted to work instead with Jude Law, Ashton Kutcher, Liv Tyler, and film-maker Sam Mendes. Gibson was simply thrilled that all this attention by Spielberg and now Sam Mendes was creating great marketing-channels for his Archangel Comics. More importantly, Internet mail-order-bride crimes were gaining a great deal of social attention."

"So Leo, Ajay, Spielberg, and Jennifer instead worked on a series of Christmas 2018 online politically-conscious greeting-cards about immigration-reform under TrumpUSA. These online greeting-cards reminded consumers and Internet-surfers of the special magic of social dialogue in this age of media and networking. Spielberg called these the Democracy Cards, and he filed them in his DreamWorks special-projects trophy-case. Mendes became jealous and offered Spielberg the chance to incorporate the idea of these 'Internet-cards' into his new Evil Supergirl fim."

TRUMP: Did you see the new Evil Supergirl film?
CARTER: Yes, the Mendes one is much better than the Spielberg one.
TRUMP: It's about the same subject-matter --- Internet mail-order-bride crimes!
CARTER: Yes, modern media/networking has generated immigration chatter.
TRUMP: Our critics seem to despise my immigration policies/comments.
CARTER: American voters are focusing on your race-controversies...
TRUMP: Maybe this new Mendes film will draw attention away from me.
CARTER: That's a good thing; we want voters to feel cheerful about the media.
TRUMP: In any case, I think Spielberg's film Coming to the INS is good too.
CARTER: I just purchased an Evil Supergirl comic from Gibson for my daughter!
TRUMP: That's cool, Carter.
CARTER: The age of media makes for all kinds of traffic-politics.
TRUMP: Did you see the Michael Douglas immigration/narcotics film Traffic?
CARTER: Yes, I thought Benicio Del Toro was terrific in that film.
TRUMP: Spielberg told me about that "Media Tape"Leo and Ajay made/recorded.
CARTER: Spielberg kept it in his special DreamWorks files.
TRUMP: Spielberg is so eccentric and yet so sensitive to culture-trends, no?
CARTER: He sure is; we have to praise new age 'media advocates.'
TRUMP: Hail to the media!
