I have long been of the opinion that if there is anything at all good about an ideology, there wouldn't be restrictions on leaving it. The positives would be self-evident in the fact people didn't WANT to leave it rather than their being too terrified of repercussions for doing so.

Islam is a cult. It is a cult with over a billion members, but a cult nevertheless for the express reason that leaving it is fraught with so much danger.
