So we have two SCOTUS judges, one has a billionaire buying Justice Thomas's wife a house, and lavishing hundreds of thousands worth of gifts to him, and the other, Justice Robert's wife makes megabucks in commissions from elite law firms, one of which had a case before the court.

And then we have Two Supreme Court justices accused of sexual misconduct, and one former president being sued for rape and accused by 25 women of sexual misconduct.

And what do they all have in common?

They are all Republicans.

Jane Roberts was paid more than $10 million by a host of elite law firms, a whistleblower alleges.

At least one of those firms argued a case before Chief Justice Roberts after paying his wife hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Details of Jane Roberts' work come as Congress struggles to reform the Court's self-policed ethics.

You can't have the beliefs that a religious fundie has without having some deeply rooted evils as part of your character

Feel free to use the only Constitutionally approved method of removing a Justice on the SCOTUS - Impeach him/them, and let them see if they can get 67 Senators to vote to remove.

I'm satisfied with them having to live in constant fear for stripping rights away from vulnerable people. Today Alito whined in a WSJ article about not being able to leave his house without armed guards and a tank-like vehicle he rides in. He can eat shit.

I’d be curious what firm argued a case before scotus and what Roberts opinion was.

However, the article does say that while appearances are bad, what she did is not illegal and that both John and Jane were sensitive to the ethical implications and she didn’t appear to use John’s position on the court to her advantage.

So, what you're saying is that Mrs. Roberts is not allowed to pursue her career because her husband is a SCOTUS judge?

Ahh, a justice should fear for his life because a mob of protesters, and you applaud that. “He can eat shit”….but you’ll condemn the J6 attacks and threats to members of congress.

Double standard much??

She did nothing wrong according to the link you provided.

From the link...

"The spokesperson also told the Times that the Robertses had complied with the code of conduct for federal judges, citing an advisory opinion finding that "a judge whose spouse owned and operated a legal or executive recruitment business need not recuse merely because a law firm appearing before the judge engaged the judge's spouse."

Mrs. Roberts is a headhunter. She finds employees for law firms. If those law firms then have a case before the Supremes, there is absolutely no conflict of interest. Justice Roberts does not need to recuse himself. That would be stupid.

He does need to report her income on his financial disclosures, though. Something Clarence Thomas deliberately avoided doing for 20 years.

And? Corrupt Democrats and corrupt Joe Biden run a global graft operation, then talk smack. lol
So it is OK then? Is that what you are saying? While I doubt anyone is going to come up with jackshit concerning Biden, it appears what you are saying is that it is just fine with you, that politicians, and SCOTUS justices, make tons of money from their positions. That they buy and sell their votes and their decisions.
