Judges tell officials it's ok to destroy ballot records of Alabama election!!

More blacks voted yesterday than for Obama so that tells you something doesn't it? The bribed and bussed them in like McGarrett said would happen a few weeks ago.

Ah its all the fault of those uppity blacks again! Shootspeeder will approve of your post!

Bama is deep red . How can there be all this voter fraud under their watch?

Because after 8 years of aunt barry, voter fraud is everywhere. He went on tv the day before the nov 2016 election and told illegals "When you vote, you're a citizen".

If there is any voter fraud in Alabama- then it is being orchestrated by the Republicans who control the elections in Alabama.

I have another theory . You bitches lost cause you suck!

Oh I wouldn't be surprised if there was voter fraud. The Republicans just didn't do enough fraud this time to win the election.

Told ya. Thousands of illegals voted once again. Dems have to break laws to win. This should be headline news on TV but it will be censored.

Alabama court gives last-minute order that could impede recount procedure

dec 13 2017 Controversy swirled over the mechanics of the Alabama Senate election after the state supreme court intervened at the eleventh hour to give election officials a green light not to preserve electronic ballot records that could form the basis of a recount.

A court in Montgomery, the state capital, issued an injunction on Monday afternoon ordering election officials around the state to preserve digital images of the ballots cast by Alabama voters in the hard-fought contest between controversial Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones.

But the supreme court stayed that injunction almost immediately following a protest lodged by Alabama’s chief election official, the secretary of state, John Merrill. Voting rights experts denounced the ruling as a blow to transparency in a state that already has a flawed vote recount procedure and a somewhat checkered history of questionable election outcomes that the state’s senior officials and courts have allowed to go unchallenged. “There’s no legitimate reason not to preserve ballot images,” said Christopher Sautter, a veteran Washington election lawyer who helped the plaintiffs in the case. “It’s neither expensive nor inconvenient. It amounts to flipping a switch.”

Priscilla Duncan, the lead plaintiff in the case, noted with some amazement that the secretary of state’s protest was lodged with the supreme court at 4.38pm and the justices came back with their ruling at 5.18pm. “It’s just unbelievable that they examined the pleadings and got eight judges to concur in half an hour on a Monday afternoon,” she said.

You do realize that Alabama State election officials are the ones that want to destroy the records- the electronic records that is.

And that officials are all appointed positions- so in Alabama they would likely have all been appointed by Republicans.

So why are you fantasizing about Democrats doing something about this election?

They aren't going to destroy voting records. There will be no recount. Doug Jones won this race. The Secretary of State basically admitted to that on National T.V. last night. Now if there are a bunch of Alabamians that want to face some very serious criminal charges albeit.

This would end up in the U.S Supreme court so fast they would get whiplash over it.

UNDER ALABAMA ELECTION LAW: To do a recount the margin of difference has to be .05%--then they do an automatic recount. Roy Moore cannot pay for a recount--because this is a U.S Senate position. They only allow recounts to be paid for by a candidate in local state races.

Since Doug Jones beat him by a 1.5% margin there will be no recount.

Well good then. It helped the Democrat win.

So explain how thousands of illegal immigrants voted in a Republican controlled state that requires photo ID to vote.

118,000 citizens that have been registered voters their whole life, could not vote because of Alabama's recent voter ID laws and their not having valid voter ID's is what was said on the news last night....

me thinks there was not even a nano second of thought given to your assertion of voter fraud...

It's not in Alabama law that a recount can take place simply at will for a federal level election....a recount for US Senator takes place automatically if the final vote is a difference of 1/2 a percent or less....

Jones won by 1 1/2 percent. Three times the 1/2 %....There will be no recount.
How funny would it be if Moore could get a recount, but then the state was incapable of recounting since they told election boards to destroy voting records?

They could pull a Trump and blame it on Hillary and Obama!

I doubt anyone was told to throw them away, at least not before the vote was certified to be accurate by the Secretary of State....me thinks it is fake news.... :D

The last thing an illegal is going to do is show up at a voting precinct or welfare office, to say here I am come and get me.---

BS - illegals have a huge incentive to vote. They want dems in power because dems are the open borders and welfare party. They don't worry about a one in a million chance of being caught and paying a fine.

No - i don't realize any of that but even if true, so what?. The GOP is full of rinos who want open borders and wanted Moore to lose. THINK

Blacks didn't need to be bused in. They had plenty of motivation to get out and vote

In response to a question from one of the only African Americans in the audience — who asked when Moore thought America was last "great" -- Moore acknowledged the nation's history of racial divisions, but said: "I think it was great at the time when families were united — even though we had slavery — they cared for one another.... Our families were strong, our country had a direction."

At the same event, Moore referred to Native Americans and Asian Americans as "reds and yellows," and earlier this year he suggested the September 11 terrorist attacks were divine punishment.

HAHAHA. You're only off by a factor of TEN!! The law says .5% not .05%!!! What else did you get massively wrong?

No illegal is going to risk getting caught and deported by walking into any precinct in this country so they can cast a single vote dumbass.

Sure they will. What have they got to lose?. Trump is gonna deport them anyway. They absolutely have to put democrats (the open border party) back in power.

No they won't. Casting a fraudulent vote in any election is a Felony in this country. Any illegal committing a felony is up for immediate deportation.

But they did catch two Trump supporters for voting twice in 2016.

Cops in suburban Houston cuffed 62-year-old Phillip Cook Jr. at a polling station around 6 p.m. Tuesday after telling deputies he worked for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and was trying to vote again. Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls said Cook was “not very close” to succeeding.
