Of course he was. He had no reason to make that up. And it makes the powers-to-be at Fox look like complete idiots for keeping him off the air for as long as they did. B ut, he’s back and you can find him on almost every Fox show from early morning to late evening. (Wonder what he earns for each appearance.)

British and other European intelligence agencies intercepted communications between associates of Donald Trump and Russian officials and other Russian individuals during the campaign and passed on those communications to their US counterparts, US congressional and law enforcement and US and European intelligence sources tell CNN.

Why was Trump campaign team in contact with Russian spies all the time? Are they unwitting agents for Russia or willing agents for Russia?

you do realize that spies initiate contact with persons of interest...that they don't walk around saying "we are spies. Talk to us." That's kind of the behavior that makes them spies.

The only folks with a close relationship with the Russians are Democrats.
The names Clinton and Podesta come to mind.

Here's why:
You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.
The first Republican President

And this:
"Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal

...the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

....major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.

Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons,...."

Moron......two of the guys were doing business, one in Ukraine the other in Russia...and as the New York Times quoted from their source, the business world over there is filled with Russian spies and you never know who they are........people don't understand the different way they do things in that part of the world....

From the New York Times...one of the sources for the story that Trump was being spied on...

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/14/us/politics/russia-intelligence-communications-trump.html

Mr. Manafort, who has not been charged with any crimes, dismissed the officials’ accounts in a telephone interview on Tuesday. “This is absurd,” he said. “I have no idea what this is referring to. I have never knowingly spoken to Russian intelligence officers, and I have never been involved with anything to do with the Russian government or the Putin administration or any other issues under investigation today.”

He added, “It’s not like these people wear badges that say, ‘I’m a Russian intelligence officer.’”

Several of Mr. Trump’s associates, like Mr. Manafort, have done business in Russia.

And it is not unusual for American businessmen to come in contact with foreign intelligence officials, sometimes unwittingly, in countries like Russia and Ukraine, where the spy services are deeply embedded in society.
