Judge Imposes Gag On Trump In Manhattan Criminal Trial.

If "the Judge" considers it a threat then it is an illegal threat. Quit being emotional and weepy, Weather53.

Wrong.
A judge cannot rule something is illegal.
Something is not illegal until another impartial court case comes down with a guilty verdict.
This is not a dictatorship and judges do not dictate law.
All a judge can do is regulate the conduct in his courtroom.
They can NOT control and dictate what happens outside of the courtroom.
If the judge feels threatened by what Trump is saying, then he has to talk a prosecutor into pressing charges over it. Which he not only has not done, but clearly would never be able to do, since Trump said nothing threatening.

Does not matter.

The gag order is still illegal.
In general, courts have held that gagging people involved in trials is more acceptable than similar orders issued against the press. Gag orders against people involved in the case is often necessary to maintain the integrity of the judicial process. The goal is a fair trial for everyone involved. You can study more about it here. On appeal, they had narrowed on of the gag orders before. They always weigh free speech rights with the need to protect a fair trial.

The Judge, of course, can consider and use threats from outside his courtroom to punish activity aimed to interrupt a court's course.

Yes, Trump's attacking witnesses, prosecutors and jurors are threats to the rule of law.

He will learn even if they have to take the rest of his money.

Trump will abide the law or go into the ditch.
So his enemies are entitled to undress him, but he cannot tell them.about any of them even if it is the truth. GOT IT!

The New York judge presiding over one of Donald J. Trump’s criminal trials imposed a gag order on Tuesday that prohibits him from attacking witnesses, prosecutors and jurors, the latest effort to rein in the former president’s wrathful rhetoric about his legal opponents.

The judge, Juan M. Merchan, imposed the order at the request of the Manhattan district attorney’s office, which brought the case against Mr. Trump. The district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, has accused Mr. Trump of covering up a potential sex scandal during and after his 2016 campaign.

The ruling comes on the heels of Justice Merchan’s setting an April 15 trial date, rejecting Mr. Trump’s latest effort to delay the proceeding. It will mark the first criminal prosecution of a former American president.
Hmm. I thought the United States Constitution allowed free speech for everyone, and that state judges have to obey their oaths of office to hold true for all persons have freedom to say what they think is the truth, especially.if it is associated with the Federal judicial system.
