For reporting the truth about Hamas.

International press in Gaza has hardly reported on how Hamas operates in this round of fighting and photos or video of Hamas fighters from recent weeks are rare, the reason for which became apparent this week as several journalists reported being threatened and even expelled from Gaza for reporting the terrorist organization uses civilian sites to attack Israel

Article goes further to report that it was a Hamas misfire that struck the Shifa hospital.

MOAR!

Hamas has builts miles and miles of tunnels which would make excellent shelters for their children, but they refuse to use them for civilians since they want the deaths so as to continue their media blitz of outrage at the deaths they create.

Still, Hamas would not have Western media eating out of its hands and generating sympathy if it did build shelters for their people.

But then if they didn't fire rockets and create tunnels into Israel, they wouldn't need the shelters.

That's the insanity of their ideology.

In one of those tunnels hidden (like Nasrallah is hidden underground in Lebanon) sits Ismail Haniyeh and it would be great to find him and get him to suffer, squirm and squeal like a pig.

As long as the journalists are taking pictures of and reporting what Hamas wants them to, there is no problem. But once they start to actually put what they really see into the story, Hamas is on them like flies on shit. The above article had a tweet from another journalist as he was leaving Gaza, oh here:

One altered his report, however and another waited to leave Gaza, because he feared retribution from Hamas. Italian journalist Gabriele Barbati tweeted a photo on Tuesday as he went through the Erez crossing into Israel.

Barbati then tweeted the following in Italian and English: “Out of Gaza far from Hamas retaliation: Misfired rocket killed children [yesterday] in Shati.

Gotta give props to CNN and Fox for reporting from Gaza. And the MH17 crash site. These are some serious journalists.

Suggestion fellas, those ballistic vests with "PRESS" on them, shouldn't it read "press" but in the local language? :)

Hmmm, plenty of other posters seem to be absent from this thread . . . . . . now who could they be?

No one likes the truth.

Easier to blame (or target) journalists.

Interesting in that in another thread the question of journalists as legit targets was brought up.

For Hamas, everything and everyone is a legitimate target.

The part of your quote that I put in bold and in said thread, I totally disagreed to.

Not sure about the first two sentences of your post. Please explain the first and the second. Separately.

Wolf Blitzer of CNN confirms that he has been threatened, and takes those threats very seriously!

Ropey, nice info, but that deserves its own thread.

Challenger, huh? That the best you can do? And your sig line sounds like you have some serious forum issues, dude.

Hamas has been doing this for years and the media still believes that they are the victims

should it really surprise anyone that a terrorist group is threatening people?

Wrong. If there was no blockade or occupation and Israel stopped firing missiles into Gaza on a weekly basis, there would be no reason for the tunnels.

Just exactly what is the reason for the tunnels into Israel? Gazans have no business in Israel. And don't try to say it's for needed supplies. Israel trucks everything they need to the border crossings. Then Hamas steals it.

Nice how Israel decides what the people in Gaza need. Maybe if Israel could manage it's prison better the prisoners wouldn't be so violent.
