Everybody knows mankind has never had any kind of effect on anything. Jordan Peterson is the Aristotle of our time.

It's standard cult behavior to chant that all of those people outside of your cult are the real cultists, so that's what we see Jordan Peterson doing. Since the cult has declared that facts are a conspiracy directed against the cult, all good cultists are commanded to reject facts.

The more general problem is that Peterson isn't doing well mentally. If you listen to him from 6 years ago, he says sensible things, like that young men should clean their rooms and stop playing video games all day. Now? He mainly echos the feelings-based right-wing propaganda that this thread highlights. But it gets worse. He's now declaring that all people have a _duty_ to support the dominant religion -- that is, right-wing Christianity -- regardless of whether they agree with it, and that not doing so represents immaturity, immorality and narcissism. And those who disagree with him take their inspiration straight from Hell.

He's descended into boring Christofascist madness. Here's his authoritarian rant. It should scare anyone, the way he's so certain that religion justifies his authoritarianism.
