Yep. Apparently Moore lost by 21,000 votes and with 22,000 write-ins (apparently for a third candidate). The Republican party and voters rejected him enough to lose and the Democrats can now celebrate the fact that they have narrowly flipped Alabama to the blue for now, the Senate lost a much needed seat, the GOP continues to be the party of asshats, but it was a win only against the worst possible, deplorable candidate by their own admission that never should have even had a chance. They have Jones now, and we shall see how well the Alabamans sit with their decision, but considering that Jones barely beat a guy like Moore, he would stand no chance against a good candidate---- if ever the Republicans can find one. But these days, with the way politics has become now, what decent person in their right mind other than a low-life crook would want to get involved in politics. I've long held that elections should offer a third choice: NONE OF THE ABOVE.
