jon stewart killed cramer. did anyone watch?

This is turning out to be some of the most real TV I have ever seen.

Steward is indicting the entire business reporting industry and MSNBC in particular.

Steward call them out as co-conspirators in the recent massive swindle of the American investor.

A swindle where banks were leveraging thirty five times their capitalization and betting it all on derivatives.

An ongoing swinlde of the short sellers burning the house down on retirement funds and pensions, and their fellow investors.

Jim Cramer, who is on tape admitting it, explaining it, and telling his audience this is not for TV, is coping rather well, given the pressure he's under.

They both end up calling for indictments. Upon that issue they are of the same mind

I love Jon Stewart.

He is a refreshing breath of realism in this Katfka novel we're living in.

/next commercial period/

Interview's over.

Okay John Stewart speaks for America, as far as I'm concened.

He eviserated MSNBC reporting.

Cramer spoke on behalf of that reporting to apologise to the American people.

You'll no doubt find on this the net in the next few hours.

I really cannot do it justice.

These assclowns crashed capitalism.

Are we really going to let the guilty parties in this swindle get away with it?

I mean, seriously?

If we do, liberalism, terrorism and Mexico are the least of our worries.

These people swindled trillions of dollars out of the system.

So what you're saying is that you're calling for INDICTMENTS of people in the US Financial Industry... as a result of information you've come to through THE COMEDY CHANNEL?

Interesting...

Now did ANY of these HIGHLY TRAINED BROADCAST SPECIALIST mention any culpability on the part of the US legislature which set that entire financial ball in motion when they threatened the Financial Markets with Civil Right Lawsuits if THEY DID NOT CHANGE THEIR POLICIES REGARDING LOAN THRESHOLDS and de facto Government guarantees of those sub-standard loans?

There would not BE any mortgage-derivatives IF the Left had not COERCED THE FINANCIAL MARKETS INTO DESIGNING A SYSTEM WHEREIN SUB-STANDARDS LOANS BECAME A MAINSTREAM FINANCIAL PRODUCT.

Who could have predicted that lowering financial standards could ever POSSIBLY LEAD TO DISASTER? Especially considering that the US GOVERNMENT WAS GUARANTEEING THOSE LOANS!

It's really annoying when people think they make their point better by yelling and screaming and putting it in red 25 point font. Bummer it doesn't make what they say more intelligent.

:cuckoo:

Fuck creamer! Fuck stoopidert! Fuck it all up the fucking nostril!

For those of you who claim to be Republicans, this should be an awakening for you. You didn't believe me when I said the bankers caused this recession.

That's because the Bankers were not the one's that Coerced the bankers into mainstraming BAD LOANS...

FYI: Jim Cramer is a life long true believing Democrat. Of course he's a fascist, who believes that social programs can only be sustained by the engine of industry... so naturally the addle-minded Marxists will protest his failure to truly grasp untenable Socialist policy... but CRAMER IS ONE OF YOU! He gleefully voted for The Lord of the Idiots...

I saw part of it and it looked like Stewart was ready to blow Cramer so I moved on.

Thank you for proving my point again for why we don't listen to hormonal teenagers when it comes to national issues.

So what you're saying here, is that you've no means to recognize the essence of her perspective, due to your blind loyalty to a thoroughly discredited ideology and instead choose to avoid her point through the fallacious denigration of her perceived youth?

Sweet fallacious appeal to popularity... a wholly invalid logical construct and as such, a thoroughly untenable species of reasoning; one which bears an indisputable means of proving the depth of your idiocy which is well beyond what anyone, BUT YOU, could have ever hoped to have produced.

:clap2: BRAVO! :clap2:

Sweet CONCESSION!

I'd say that's a bit of cognative dissonance....

in other words, you're pretty delusional.

The beautiful thing about sweet irony is just how common it is amongst the left...

The member sources an argument, speaks to it so as to wholly avoid the issues inherent IN THAT ARGUMENT... thus proving her desire to discredit that argument, but chooses to do so by IGNORING IT'S POINT... incontrovertibly establishing that she has NO MEANS to contest it, thus CONCEDING to that point, BY DEFAULT... and when that concession is simply noted and accepted, she returns to declare that the individual who advanced the point; a point which SHE was WHOLLY UNABLE TO CONTEST, is delusional...

ROFLMNAO... Oh GOD! Now that's precious...

But if you truly want to eviserate your opposition, use humor on them.

There is nothing the powerful hate more than when people laugh at them and their excesses.

Jon Stewart is the most influential humorous political commentator of our age.

At times perceptive, I'm wondering how you miss the difference between the kind of humorous banter that Stewart often uses, especially against political opposites, and you use the appropriate term, 'eviserating' withering attack that we witnessed here.

I didn't miss it. In this case Stewart took off his clown shoes to be deadly serious about his complaint... a complaint that I suspect every person on this board could sign onto, regardless of of our political leanings.

He was pointing out CORRUPTION of our economy by the masters of our economy.

And Cramer, much to his credit, completely agreed.

I felt that the video-enhanced attack by Stewart was more appropriate to be found in a courtroom than a comedy set.

Yup.

Sometimes even clowns weap in horror, I suspect.

And why did Cramer show up to get this beating? Because, being a loyal Democrat and Obama-supporter up until recently, he felt that the other good-ol'-boy would spank him lightly.

Because I think Cramer respects not only Stewart, but the audience which follows him. I do NOT think that Cramer got a spanking.

Surprise. The left is unforgiving. Air America. MSNBC. Daily Kos. Huffington Post. Add Jon Stewart to the list.

Give it a rest, wouldja? Comparing the Daily Show to those partisan hacks is ridiculous.

Everybody got ripped off an STILL you want to make this a partisan issue.

When the hell are people like you going to wake up?

He believes he's right, and he not afraid to be passionate about it.

While I think he's clueless about pretty much everything he's ever written about, I can definitely appreciate his passion.

One day he'll wake up from the media induced narcosis he's suffering from, and perhaps his passion will finally serve the commonweal.

People do change, you know, when their understanding about their world changes.

When I was 14 or so, my attitude then made his political leaning today, look tame by comparison.

Apparently you folks complaining that Stewart is comedian (and therefore can be dismssed) don't understand why courts felt it useful to have court jesters.

If you merely want to complain about somebdy or something, complain about it. You will be ignored because the powerful don't give a rat's ass what you think

Jon Stewart is the most influential humorous political commentator of our age.

He doesn't have the same loyal following of dittoheads as Rush, but his persuasive power to lampoon those in power is far greater than Limboughs because you don't have to agree with him, to see the humor (and truth usually) of his mockery of the powerful.

There is simply no better way to unmask the absurdities of the powerful than by doing so with humor.

You can often convey a complex truth more effectively by making a joke about it than by simply explaining it.

Jestors are there to tell the powerful what they do NOT want to hear, and that they HOPE nobody else notices.

Modern political humorists often serve those of us who are not easily buffalo'd into GROUPT THINK, by showing us that we are not the only ones who see through the tissue of lies and pompousity that our governments and the partisans which support them, them are feeding us.

I think some people want to shoot the messenger (Stewart) because he is considered a "lib"

If Cramer had been called out by someone on the "right" then nobody would be howling like they are.

Humor and Politics, yes, a great combination.

Nope...this is just more of the same from the liberal media. You don't speak out publicly against the Messiah (like Joe the plumber) or you get your reputation trashed and dragged through the mud ,until you cry uncle. Cramer asked for it by voting for the fraud in the first place. It's quite amusing that his own party is now going to make sure his career is ruined for good. Lesson learned the hard way..ain't that right Cramer...

She writes "I stopped watching cause it looked like Stewart was going to blow Cramer" and not only is that exactly was a hormonal teenager says, but it obviously shows that she watched none of it though rendered an opinion on it which is also exactly what teenagers do. I didn't think that this would have to be explained but you've proven time and time again that you're a complete nutjob so I guess I understand
