american joey chestnut ate a record 68 hot dogs with buns to keep the title in ameircan. it was formerly held by the little japanese guy....one thing i must give the barker at this event...he was good...."walking on hallowed ground" "the golden age of competetive eating"

I watched this on TV. On one hand it was somewhat interesting and exciting. On the other hand it was pretty gross. I wonder if they have Medics standing by at these kind of events in case somebody begins to choke? I really though that guy was going to do that several times. We do some strange stuff in the name of entertainment sometimes, huh?
