Here is some money to shut your power off......I hope they arent dumb enough to actually do it.

The Union of South Africa is already dealing with load-shedding. They really need to be INCREASING their power generation, not decreasing it.

Will Sleepy Joe pledge US troops to help shore up the government in Pretoria when the people get pissed at them.

They are not shutting off power.
Another "duh" moment from the OP
They say replace.....replace with what......and whats the cost.....and do you have more or less power...or fake power like wind...know how many sq miles of windmills you need to replace 1 powerplant...

Heard of solar power? What is wrong with some of you?

Israel keeps helping Africa to better the lives of others. No one complains that it will cost "Israeli Tax money" in Israel.

Nothing but complaints by some ignorant people in the US any time the US tries to help people who are in real need in the world?

What are YOU doing to help people in need?

Let those who do know about energy and better energy to do their job. You are not one of them.

Two out of three people in sub-Saharan Africa live without access to electricity. Although many of these people will be connected to the electricity grid in the future, some live in remote areas that will never be connected. Even those who will be connected may face a long wait as the infrastructure build-out tries to keep up with population growth. Power Africa recognized the need to support off-grid electricity access and in 2014 launched the Beyond the Grid sub-initiative focused exclusively on unlocking investment and growth for off-grid energy solutions on the African continent.

Beyond the Grid leverages Power Africa’s innovative transaction-focused model to unlock finance and drive systemic reforms relating to off-grid energy solutions. Beyond the Grid has partnered with over 40 investors and companies that have committed to invest over $1 billion. These private sector commitments will be significant in helping Power Africa deliver first-time electricity access to households and businesses.

This is about the Union of South Africa, not "sub saharan Africa".

And in South Africa, 84% of the people have electricity, and they want MORE connected, not less.

Not our concern. We have serious problems here at home to deal with.

YEah thats it......I understand green policies are fraud.....Check your western states where prices are thru the roof and its becoming less reliable
Nonsense.
You do not really have any examples. And to think that Republican run States are not using anything Green, you are delusional.

And those issues are being taken care of. It takes time.

The US is the wealthiest country on earth, and you are going to refuse to help those in need?

That has never been the American way, until the latest excuse for Republicans was born.

Are you a Christian or not? Are you supposed to help those in need or not? And if there is plenty to go around, why NOT ?

Through Power Africa and USAID, the United States Government is increasing access to electricity for health centers and communities across sub-Saharan Africa. Improved access to electricity strengthen's our partner countries' self-reliance and capacity to manage COVID-19.
