Jews Who Won American War Medals

That's a great list, Viktor.

My favorite American historical character who was Jewish has to be Haym Solomon, who arranged funding for the Revolutionary War when General Washington called on him for help.

I can't say enough good about him for what he and his family went through to put everything they had on the line for the young wannabe republic we were before his contribution brought Washington's troops the basic necessities to fight a war, which was food, ammunition, and new shoes after old ones were worn out, complete with frostbitten toes.
He was never recompensed by Congress, to the best of my knowledge, nor was his family.
And no American soldier would exist , much less earn a medal for valor, without the hardship Haym put himself through to make it happen that Washington's men could win what seemed to be a winless war.
May God bless his posterity and all America's. :eusa_pray:
