Jethro Tull released their classic "Aqualung" 50 years ago today!

Neil Young released an album that year too...The Golden Rush? something like that
Funny that you mention Neil Young here - my friend Jeff was pissed at me
for getting us 2 Jethro Tull tickets instead of Neil Young tickets that went on sale the same day.
I only had enough for one concert at the time- they both sold out and he blamed me for not getting to see NY for a long time after that.

i would rather see Neil Young too tbh...especially if he rocks out and ditches the mellow tunes

a lot of my favorite pop punk albums are 20 years old or even more...we're all old!

Ya, I know. It just happened so damn fast. I guess the denture commercials and life insurance commercials on every thing I watch on TV is a constant reminder any way. Funny how that goes I remember when I got beer commercials with hot chicks. Now it's adult depends and denture commercials. Lol. The last rock concert I went to was filled with grey hairs people. I remember when it was super hot chicks ripping their shirts off. Now it's grandma dancing. What's worse is I am old too and think ya she moves pretty well. Lol

I have worked with Ian and the band at least 4 times. Starting in the 90s.

They are fun to work with but don't tick off Ian. He has a very scary temper.

That is titled After the Gold Rush. Which is the title song to that album.

Neil made it a hit. Then years later a group of nuns made it a hit again.

Nothing scarier than an angry flute player

If you have either seen his temper or experienced it inflicted on you, you wouldn't say that.

I love his music but his temper is very scary. The last time I witnessed that temper was in 2005 and the last time I agreed to work with him.

He never directed his temper at me but there is just so many times I could take that explosive temper.
