OK, we know Hillary lost and Democrats are on the run almost nationwide. Among the recalcitrant, Democrat Hell-holes, is ultra-liberal Rhode Island. But.....

R.I. state rep. bill would let teachers say 'Merry Christmas,' 'Happy Hanukkah'

"PROVIDENCE - Rep. Patricia Morgan, R-Coventry, along with members of the House Minority Caucus, will introduce legislation next year to allow teachers to say, "Merry Christmas" to students.

Additional sponsors include Rep. Anthony Giarrusso, R-East Greenwich, Rep. Sherry Roberts, R-Coventry Rep. Justin Price, R-Exeter, and Rep. Robert A. Nardolillo III, R-Coventry."

Morgan's bill will allow school districts across the state to educate students about the history of traditional winter celebrations, and allow students and district staff to offer traditional greetings regarding the celebrations, including "Merry Christmas", "Happy Hanukkah" and "Happy Holidays".

Yup, they're legislating to allow teachers to blaspheme (from the liberal POV).

Can the end of the liberal world be far behind?

So this is about Republicans playing up a supposed war on Christmas? There is no law against wishing people well with holiday greetings. It's about the Christian crazies in Texas?

You'd have a point if there were more than a very few living Republicans in The People's Republic of Rhode Island and Providence PLANTATIONS (look up the official name of the state before spewing....). Gotta give props to the one who took life-in-hand by shoveling shit against the Democrat Tide.

so it's ALL of the Republicans in RI? thanks for the info

HB just loves drinking down some pandering bullshit. You see, the propaganda doesn't work if the rubes aren't made to feel like they are a persecuted minority.

Hey, here's an idea! Let's pass a law making it legal to rub your belly and pat your head at the same time!

SHHHHHHH! Don't tell the rube herd it is already legal to do that.

This just in. Rhode Island Republicans have made it legal for the sun to rise in the east. Praise the Lord we are blessed with such courageous leaders!

They're probably going to be shot by the liberals for this! And their families, too!

I hear they also decided to secede. I say :"good riddance"

It's the Prog Way: That which is not expressly permitted is verboten.

When did Democrats stop attacking people for voting for Trump again?

Oh right, colleges literally think it is a hate crime for someone to etch Trump's name somewhere on campus. That totally couldn't lead to irrational actions after someone says "Merry Christmas" when "Happy Holidays" is barely pc anymore.

What do you believe the term 'plantation' signifies in this context?

At some point at least some of them get tired of losing and see the writing on the wall.
