Jesus and hell

Actually he brough Abe and the saints too. They went up together
So did their bodies ascend as Jesus paired them together with New Resurrected bodies, and they appeared to many People in Israel, before ascending to Heaven with Christ.

Abraham's Bosom (Paradise) -- giant crevasse -- souls waiting for the White Throne Judgement.

Those in Abraham' Bosom were God's faithful, but could not ascend to Heaven because Christ had not paid the price for their sins yet. <They, came back with Christ, and ascended to Heaven with Him.

Read about it here for clarity:
Luke 16:19-31
“There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. 24 And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.’ And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father’s house for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’ But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’ ”

Read the Gospel of Nicodemus. He was the clerk recorder for both Pilate and the Temple. And the most respected man in all the land. You don't even have to believe it, but you should at very least be enlightened with the knowledge...

I have heard some say that Jesus "went to hell" after the crucifixion for 3 days before he was resurrected, I'm curious what the significance of this is, if someone can elaborate.
He was just given a visitor's pass so that he could tour the place.

He didnt go to hell. Just a pagan myth.

Hell doesnt exist until God makes the earth molten and destroys all physical life.

In the end, earth will be the home of only SPIRIT beings -- including God, the Father

I find it interesting that the Abrahamic religions all claim that God/Allah/Yahweh is capable of the following (when dealing with humanity and the devil):
1. Knows ALL.
2. Sees ALL.
3. Able to do ALL.
4. ALL powerful.
5. Perfect.
Yet:
1. Didn't know Eve would be talked (by a talking serpent nonetheless) into eating the so-called forbidden fruit (why make it if it was forbidden?) and couldn't interfere, even though he knows all and is all powerful.
2. Didn't know Cain would slay Abel and couldn't interfere, even though he knows all and is all powerful.
3. Would have created angels, including Satan and knowing all, would have known that in creating Satan, would have to have cast him out.
As far as the deity him/herself, suffers from the same failing emotions as humans.
1. Insecurity.
2. Jealousy.
3. Anger.
4. Rage.
Sure sounds like something manmade to me.
