I wouldn't. The guy is smarmy as hell.

The guy I'd like to see is LaVar Burton. Not because he's black and not because I'm a Trekkie, but because I think he has the right calm demeanor for the role.

I remember over the summer, they played Alex's first show from 1986... and it was a sharp contrast to the calm demeanor he had towards the end of his run. He was excited, at one point, he forgot a contestant's name.
