Two of which women? The book description does not specify to what you are referring.

Lin Yajin from Hainan Province and Deng Yumin from Boating County but the details are too gory to post here. Max Hastings is one of the best military historians in the UK and you can find a more detailed historical account on this issue in his previous book "Retribution: The Battle for Japan, 1944-45".
