It's now been confirmed the gun that started the Kansas City Superbowl shooting was stolen

It makes sense when you realize the goal of the left is to totally eliminate our civil rights.
Yeah there are the few of them who understand those goals, but I think most of them are just really stupid and a lifetime of mimicking defenses of ridiculous liberal positions has created these weird rhetorical reflexes.

I agree it was illegal for the teen to carry the gun to school.

Not illegal for them to buy him a gun though, it was illegal for him to leave the house with a gun unsupervised.

Very relevant to how you're trying to present the school shooting as fact because they were convicted.

When you know for a fact that juries get things wrong on occasion.
the OJ jury was right.
There was insufficient evidence to convict.
The school shooting is fact.
and
You're wrong.
While it is legal for an adult to allow a minor to use a firearm in Michigan it is not legal to give ownership of a firearm to a minor, as in buy the kid a gun.

"
In Michigan, a person under the age of 18 generally may not possess a firearm in public except under the direct supervision of an adult 18 years of age or older.1 Persons under age 18 may possess a firearm while at, or going to or from, a recognized target range or trap or skeet shooting ground if, while going to or from the range or ground, the firearm is enclosed and securely fastened in a case or locked in the trunk of a motor vehicle.2 Persons under age 18 may also possess a firearm while hunting game under the authority of a hunting license on land upon which a parent or guardian is regularly domiciled or where a parent or guardian, or another adult at least 18 years old authorized by a parent or guardian, accompanies the minor.3
Michigan prohibits any person from knowingly selling a firearm “more than 26 inches in length” to a person under age 18.4
Michigan also prohibits issuance of a handgun purchase license to any person under age 18.5 If the handgun is to be purchased from a federally licensed dealer, the applicant must be age 21 or older.6
A concealed carry permit may not be issued to a person under 21 years of age.7

ALSO

"Michigan state law requires that ALL pistols (defined as any firearm under 26 inches in overall length) be licensed."

So in providing the pistol to the kid the parents broke the law because the kid could not register the gun
and in buying the gun with the express intent provide it to the kid (Black friday Sale) as a present the parents violated state law.

Here’s what you need to know about Michigan’s gun laws that take …

There are exemptions in Michigan’s law that allow a minor to be in possession of a firearm, although a person must be 21 to purchase a firearm. Minors may use firearms in the presence of an adult as part of their employment, for ranching or farming, or for practicing educational purposes and target practice.

Already acknowledged that minors may possess a firearm in the presence of or under supervision of an adult.
.
BUT the parents BOUGHT the gun to GIVE to the kid.
E.G. STRAW BUYER
The gun was not licensed in the kid's name therefore his ownership is illegal.

You're defending stupid gun owners.
Please understand that.

You have to have a license to purchase a firearm in Michigan, not own or possess one.

Not defending them at all, just stating facts as outlined in the laws.

And possessing the weapon by a minor is illegal.
Fraudulent purchase.
Strawman.

That is all you've been doing on this thread. This branch started with me pointing out that providing a firearm that is in turn used ibn a crime brings liability tot he gun owner.
You demanded proof
I provided it.

And possessing the weapon by a minor is illegal.

In public, but not while in their own home, property, or while hunting or shooting.

Fraudulent purchase.

Nope, obviously the parent who purchased the gun had a license, or else they could not have acquired the gun.

Strawman.

Nope, you are allowed to give your children gifts, even guns if you wish.

This all started when you claimed the parent illegally purchased the gun to give the kid for the sole purpose of killing people.

You have not provided ANY evidence backing up your claim.

Straw purchaser.
Purchased with the intent of transfer to an illegal owner.

You got nothing.
Parents bought gun for kid KNOWING he had issues
Parents transferred ownership of gun without license
Mom convicted of manslaughter
Dad on his way.

Maybe you should try hiring Trump's lawyers to argue this.

No need, I can read and understand the laws as written.

The parent who bought the gun OBVIOUSLY had a license.

The kid doesn't need one to possess the gun, he just has to be in the company of an adult.

FOR THE KID
The transfer TO THE KID
Was illegal BECAUSE he was underage and had no licence.

Obviously the jury thinks your interpretation is wrong.

I wonder why are there so so so many stolen and illegal guns out there for thugs and criminals to get?

Who are the guns stolen from, and how...?

Is there something we can do to tighten that up...like a task force dedicated to address whatever is causing it? If there isn't one already?
Yeah we should just make them all illegal like drugs and then it would all just go away….

It wouldn't matter, seems it's becoming popular to blame innocent people and go easy on the criminals.
No it hasn't.
That those were once exempt from the law now may be held accountable for their actions is a fear that drives MAGA.

Yes...the way we tighten it up is to put gun thieves in prison for 50 years.......

There....solved that for you.

Guns and religion kill! We'd have a better world if people fucked each other instead of raging about bullshit and carrying around guns.

Anything higher then 6 per clip is asking for mass murder.
