Israeli politician Tzipi Livni was summoned by UK police for questioning over alleged war crimes while in London last week, Israeli officials have said.

Ms Livni received a letter from the police on Thursday but the summons was cancelled after talks between Israel and the UK, Israeli media reports say.

Urgent diplomatic contacts were made between the two countries, which resulted in Ms Livni being given diplomatic immunity and declining the invitation to questioning

Making a mountain out of a molehill again, and twisting the truth to meet your POV. She was not summoned at all she was invited to have a talk regarding a private case having been brought against her by an islamonazi group with members in the UK. The case goes back to 2009 and the Israeli government stepped in with international law protection for her.

Odd that the Israeli government needed to get involved and declare diplomatic immunity over something as trivial as a friendly invite for a chat, don't you think?

It sounded to me like the Israeli government had to remind the UK beurocrats that this was outside of their authority and that she had no obligation to chat with UK police just because they were pretending to be friendly.

Yes of course, that is what diplomatic immunity is. But make no mistake, the friendly chat was intended to inquire about her connections to war crimes. Only Zionist scum trivialize such things.

I'm not trivializing anything. UK beaurocrats are not in charge of determining war crimes guilt or innocence for good reason. That they tried to usurp proper authority could have jeopardized a legitimate investigation, could cause her to go underground (if guilty) knowing the legitimate authority is close now, or any number of reactions we don't want.

The UK beurocrats could have alerted the proper people they knew where she was and would they like her to be held for questioning. They did not do that, though. Why do you think they initiated proceedings when they know they would be unable to follow through?

Sorry, my comment wasn't aimed in your direction.

To make a public statement, she is obviously protected, no matter what they did nothing was going to come of it.

Pro forma...

Just for show...

Palestinians filed the complaint(s)...

The UK folks had to make a pretty show of taking the complaint(s) seriously...

But they changed their laws, years ago, to make it more difficult for Muzzies to actually obtain action on such complaints, against Israelis...

This was a show...

Speaking about being summoned by the police, Livni said she had decided to go public about her ordeal.

"I'm proud of the decisions I made as a cabinet minister in the Israeli government," Livni said, as cited by Haaretz, while adding that she believed that “the British legal system is being abused.”

"The fact that Israeli decision-makers and army commanders are forced to participate in a 'theater of the absurd' when we come to London is something that is not acceptable," she said. "It's not a personal issue, it's a moral issue and this is something that needs to be changed,” she mentioned.

As Israeli Foreign Minister during the 2008-09 Gaza War, Livni was involved in the decision to take military action in response to rocket fire coming from the Gaza Strip. The rocket fire itself was in response to a November 4, 2008 incident, when IDF soldiers killed several Hamas fighters in a military incursion.

Livni told reporters at the time: “We have proven to Hamas that we have changed the equation. Israel is not a country upon which you fire missiles and it does not respond. It is a country that when you fire on its citizens it responds by going wild – and this is a good thing.”

She knows we know, Israel didn;t just respond, they went Wild

...She knows we know, Israel didn;t just respond, they went Wild
Typical reaction of Arab-Muslim ass-kissers.

Israel sent a very clear message.

Phukk with us, and we'll phukk with you, a thousand times worse.

The Neanderthals in Gaza got the message.

Next time, perhaps the Israelis will carpet-bomb, instead, and flatten every building in Gaza, after a provocation, and have some real fun, eh?

Don't want the Israelis to 'go wild'?

Don't phukk with them.

See how easy that is?

Pffffttttt....

And if it was a muslim that had been invited to a talk they would have been screaming about racism and breaches of human rights while threatening to unleash terrorist violence on the whole country.

The Israeli responce was to war crimes, acts of war, illegal weapons and crimes against humanity. It was the muslims that went wild and are still doing so today mass murdering children in their beds.

Actually they are if you look it up, all nations were given that power some years back when the International arrest warrant was introduced. In this case the proceedings were initiated by a firm of lawyers that work pro bono on instructions from migrants and asylum seekers. They brought this private summons some years ago at the request of a group of palestinian asylum seekers, because of the status of the people involved the courts decided to use the British police to deliver the summons and not bailiffs. It was a case of following the rules under International laws and putting in place an informal meetting. As usual the islamonazi's are twisting the incident to be something it isnt because they dont have a clue as to how other peoples laws work. This was a civil matter between palestinian trouble makers and Jewish politicians and the propaganda has been used

Even more so when Britain changed its laws to suit after the last incident, and made it a non runner to bring such private summonses ever again

Their time will come too, carpet bombing civilians

I think he means when the palestinians get to be 1 million to 1 and have built their first plane so they can carpet bomb Israel.

Why are muslims such consumate liars and frauds ?

Ignored Member,Show Ignored Content, na not really

According to islamonazi land thieves and invaders.

International laws state that the lane is Jewish and that the arab muslims have no legal or moral claim to it.

Wherte were your beloved palestinian terrorists and invaders prior to 635 C.E. they were in arabia many miles to the south of the Jewish homeland
