Israeli children sign their missiles 'With Love'

Proof there is no such thing as an Israeli innocent civilian, even the children are taught to hate and get involved in the war.

Israel has the power to destroy all the surrounding countries, yet those countries are still there, if the Arabs could destroy Israel, there would be no Israel and the Jews would be slaughtered. That says it all right there, all the other is wasted time. The arabs kill more of their own people then the Jews ever have.

Im proud to support Israel and have the honor of going back to israel for alittle while this year im an american, not a jew but love that country, compareing casualty numbers isnt quite a valid arguement either due to mentalities on both sides making a massive difference.

Americans troops did the same in WWII.

they weren't children.

how can you even compare the two?

Because kids need heroes. Sometimes it's the X-Men, or a local police officer, or their country's military, or God, or the big brothers, or their pet dogs, or whatever. But kids need heroes and while this looks rather unfortunate, you have to put it into perspective. These little girls are probably thinking, "These soldiers and these weapons will keep us safe", not "yay! death!"

They spent most of that war in a bomb shelter, ffs. Their parents wrote "Nasrallah" and the girls drew pictures.

I'd do the same damned thing, I'm sure.

Only mentally abused children have the military as heroes.

Do they teach the children that the land that Israel is on was stolen from arabs?

Zionist parents learned from their mentors that children need military heroes

Kids instinctively understand the need to defend themselves, maybe even better than you do.

Didnt Egypt and Jordan sign peace accords recognizing Israel? Doesnt that set the borders, with the exception of gaza and the west bank?

The 1949 agreements were superceeded by events happening after, namely the 56 war, the 67 war and the 73 war. If this is all you have as support, then you lose.

Those wars were not with Palestine. Palestine's borders remained the same as they were in 1922. Israel took over the occupation of Palestinian land from Jordan and Egypt.

Legal status

There are a wide variety of views regarding the status of the State of Palestine, both among the states of the international community and among legal scholars. The existence of a state of Palestine, although controversial, is nonetheless a reality in the opinions of the many states that have established bilateral diplomatic relations.[91][92][93][94] A number of publicists and legal experts have noted that the majority of other states have legally recognized the State of Palestine.

But we established that ""A state" is a meaningless term".

The definintion of a westphalian state, our current reasoning on what is a "nation-state"

Saying that the Palestinians have a 'state' is like saying that the Island of Micronesia is a 'state'. The Palestinians have territorial control because Israel lets them.

Israel is a state and Jerusalem is its capital. Israel has a self-supporting economy, military, government, foreign diplomats, etc...but most importantly, it has control. And who controls Jerusalem? Israel. It has been the capital for 30+ years. It will never be given up.

Rarely are states created with the consent of all persons. Tin Man will just have to deal with it.

The existence of the state of Palestine, or Israel for that matter, is subject to a lot of opinion. Palestine is recognized as a state by about 130 countries. Israel is recognized by about 90.

There are many myths involved in Israel's recognition.

The UN created Israel. Not true.

Israel won land in defensive wars. Not true.

These are two of the major ones that falsely frame the debate.

In 1941 Allies of World War II signed the Atlantic Charter and accepted the principle of self-determination. In January 1942 twenty-six states signed the Declaration by United Nations, which accepted those principles. The ratification of the United Nations Charter in 1945 at then end of World War II placed the right of self-determination into the framework of international law and diplomacy.

Article 1 in both the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR)[13] and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR).[14] Both read: "All peoples have the right of self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development."

Self-determination - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

International law generally holds that a people with a legal right to self-determination are entitled to wage wars of national liberation.[6][7] While Western states tend to view wars of national liberation as civil wars, Third World and communist states tend to view them as international wars.[6] This difference in classification leads to varying perceptions of which laws of war apply in such situations.[6] However, there is general agreement among all states today in principle that the use of force to frustrate a people's legal right to self-determination is unlawful.[6]

Israel is a foreign entity inside Palestine. It was created by foreigners with no intention of serving the native population. It was virtually unanimous among the native population to oppose the creation of Israel. Even the Palestinian Jews opposed the creation of Israel inside Palestine.

The creation of Israel was a violation of the rights of the native population. That violation continues today.
