Israel test fires nuclear capable missile with range to hit Iran!

Sending a message? This would allow Israel to hit Iran with tactical nukes without having to send planes over Arab countries and possibly losing pilots.

Israel on Wednesday successfully test-fired a missile said capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and striking Iran, fanning the public debate over reports the country's top leaders are agitating for a military attack on Tehran's atomic facilities.

Further information about the test was censored by the military. Foreign reports, however, said the military test-fired a long-range Jericho missile — capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and striking Iran.
Israeli media reported that onlookers who saw the missile overhead panicked, fearing Israel was under attack.

So far the Iranians aren't close to a bomb. Stuxnet seems to have set them way back. When it comes to higher level science competition with the Israelis, the Iranians are bringing a pebble to a tank fight.

And the Iranians really need to consider the fact that Israel has had Hydrogen bombs since the 60s. (Not that anyone there will admit it, but they did test some pretty impressive devices in South Africa over the years) The Iranians have yet to get the Hiroshima size device functional. And with enough cash, that should be easy.

The israelis have had a very successful rocket program over the years. They even have a very successful anti missile program. The Iranians still have a 60% failure rate on their missile tests.

So as the Iranians keep going, they have to deal with the fact that if they get their bomb, there is a 60% chance it won't get off the launch pad, a 25% chance it will get past the missile defenses Israel has in place, then their aim sucks big time (Of course in nuclear missiles and horse shoes, close still counts.) so say they actually succeed in smoking some Israeli city 100 missiles will come back, all of which have very accurate aim, all of which will launch, none of which the Iranians can stop and all of which will be a minimum of 30 times the size of the Iranian bomb.

They would be better off just setting all that cash on fire.
