Several months ago it was believed Israel's timeline to attack Iran would be in June or July and that time is fast approaching. The signals coming from Israel now seem to indicate preparations are under way. The rhetoric that came from them earlier this year has been toned down and there are reports that the government is in "lockdown" which may indicate they want to keep Iran off guard. Why hype a strike when what you want is surprise.

As the deadline for a decision draws nearer, the public pronouncements of Israel's top officials and military have changed. After hawkish warnings about a possible strike earlier this year, their language of late has been more guarded and clues to their intentions more difficult to discern.

"The top of the government has gone into lockdown," one official said. "Nobody is saying anything publicly. That in itself tells you a lot about where things stand."

Last week Netanyahu pulled off a spectacular political surprise, creating a coalition of national unity and delaying elections which everyone believed were inevitable. The maneuver also led to speculation that the Israeli leader wanted a broad, strong government to lead a military campaign.

The inclusion of the Iranian-born former Israeli chief of staff and veteran soldier, Gen. Shaul Mofaz, in the coalition, fuelled that speculation - even though both Mofaz and Netanyahu deny that Iran was mentioned in the coalition negotiations.

"I think they have made a decision to attack," said one senior Israeli figure with close ties to the leadership. "It is going to happen. The window of opportunity is before the U.S. presidential election in November. This way they will bounce the Americans into supporting them."
But behind the carefully evasive language of top officials, basic facts are clear. Time is running out. Iran's nuclear program - regarded by Netanyahu as an existential threat to the state of Israel - will soon be buried deep enough underground to render an Israeli attack impossible. The Jewish state's options are narrowing.

"I think they've gone into lockdown mode now," the senior Western diplomat said. "Whatever happens next, whatever they decide, we will not find out until it happens."

The thug regine in Iran needs to be removed. Israel can do that.

And how can they do that?

Please be precise in your answer.
Moron wants a precise answer as to Israel's plans with Iran. I can tell you one thing. It will be very high tech and never been used before type of weapons will be implemented. The whole country and military will be paralyzed, by the time they come to, it will be all but over and done with.

Precise? Haven't we all seen how Soviet technologies did so poorly in Iraq when faced with Western equipment, and systems such as Israel has in it's possession now? Enough said.

And gas prices will explode, Obama will get the blame. No speculators will get the blame! Oh, whomever!
Anyway, the world's largest user of oil will suffer a huge economic setback.

So you are saying gas prices are "reasonable" right now, in that you believe prices are not currently "exploding" enough for you? I'm one who believes gas prices are WAY out of control right now, and YES, Obama gets the blame. His failed energy policies have set the bar for higher prices on nearly everything we consume, including food -for years to come. America sits on vast reserves of energy it cannot use (in amounts that would eclipse the levels Iran exports) simply because of failed doctrine all in the guise of "saving the environment" are continuing to erode America's prosperity as we speak... Regardless of what Israel, or anybody else with "sense" has in mind for Iran.

And how will that achieve the goal Buford suggests - of regime change?

Again - please be specific.

How many US troops lost their lives in Iraq?

Would you be prepared to double that figure to achieve regime change in Iran?

West is trapped by Israel’s warmongering policies against Iran

A review of the increasing volume of Israel's anti-Iranian propaganda will make people believe Iran's nuclear energy program is the sole concern of Israel, covert angles of this policy have not been analyzed yet.

Apart from confirming Israel's concern about Iran's nuclear energy program, Tel Aviv's increasing propaganda against Iran has had other consequences as well.

Some of them are linked with the Iranophobia policy which has been adopted by the rightist government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while others are of international importance. The benefits of pursuing this policy for Israel can be enumerated as follows:

1. Strategy of terror

The Israeli regime is pursuing to weaken other countries in the Middle East to have a permanent upper hand in the region. Israel is the sole country in the region which possesses nuclear weapons. The strategy of terrorizing Middle Eastern countries is an important pillar of Israel's policies because some Israeli officials consider spreading terror as a containment method.

One would now ask whether the resolution of Iran's nuclear issue could compel Israel to give up its nuclear weapons. All this seems to indicate that the whole hullabaloo over Iran's nuclear activities is a ploy, and that the Israeli regime would come with another anti-Iran scenario once the stalemate over the Iranian nuclear case breaks.

Please.... We lost more people on America's Interstate system in the same time frame than we ever lost in Iraq. How would you have handled World War 2, when America lost thousands per day in single actions? Loss of life when doing what is right is a necessary evil. Are you prepared for a Nuclear Iran? I'm NOT. If Iran gets, and uses a nuke, you will be wishing we had addressed their lunacy sooner... Because the cost now will be eclipsed by the lives that will be lost if we stand by and do nothing, or don't support those who do, like Israel.

Press TV, huh ERGo? You got a source a tad more reliable, say Hizbollah or Hamas online, how about IRNA, the mullahs official propaganda rag?
What you put up is so full of holes I don't know where to start, but let's just take the most moronic accusation here. Israel fear of isolation? War mongering and intimidation? Israel wants nothing better than being left alone. Imagine where would a tiny country that has achieved so much be if it didn't have to constantly watch its back and wasn't surrounded by sworn enemies.

Iranian oil is about meaningless today..... And our beloved congress just made them even more meaningless. I wouldn't even doubt that congress acted to slow Israel down some. But I do expect Israel to take out several of Iran's nuke sites any day now....

That teeny tiny country made the desert bloom way before the United States came into the picture.
This is attributed to the great Ben Gurion: We can do difficult tasks, the impossible takes a bit longer.

What's stopping you from getting your fat ass of the couch buying a gun and a ticket to Iran?

Its probably better to buy the ticket to Iran and purchasing a gun while you are there, so at least he could make it past customs you know.:eusa_angel:

What kinda weapons can one get overseas?

There is an insurgency going on in the Baluchi part of Iran, the Jundallah operate there I believe, they will happily take in an American coming from overseas to fight with them, that would be great PR for the group. He can score an AK-47 or 2 off of them I am sure.

Iran wants to be left alone also and so does Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and Iraq wanted to be left alone also except the Israel lobby was pushing hard and heavy along with the Zionist's controlled media for war in Iraq.

Israel has enemies because... 1)of it's atrocious and dehumanizing treatment of Palestinians 2) It's OCCUPATION of the West Bank and Gaza strip. 3) the land theft and the destroying of Palestinians homes and the resettlement of that stolen land by Jewish settlers.

Where exactly do you get your information from? "Fair and Balanced" Fox News LOL Lots of Laughs. The Zionists control the Media in America, that's just a fact.

If I put up so many holes than take the time to elaborate. It's easy just to SAY this...it's quite another to elaborate.
