Considered by whom to be a NY resident?
By the fact that his official residence trump tower is located in New York City and he votes as a resident of new york. The fact that he spends more time more a logo does not make him a resident of Florida it's considered a vacation home for tax purposes.

Owning a property in another state doesn't make him a resident of that state unless he officially changes his residency status. He is still officially registered as a New York resident And files his taxes as a resident of New York.

If he did officially change his residency to New York it would end up f****** him on taxes.
New York has a tax on vacation homes, for example, Which is paid on top of normal property taxes. If he made mar a largo his Official residence, Then trump tower would be considered a vacation he would have to pay more taxes on the that he already is required to pay. Under US law you can only have one official residence, And you are considered a resident of which you ever state your primary Residence is located in.

Nov 1, 2019 President Donald Trump, a native New Yorker, has now declared himself a Florida resident, according to court documents . I believe Trump changed his official residence to Mar A Lago. Why would he keep it as NY? Florida doesn't have a state income tax. That change alone would save him tens of millions of dollars.

Trump has designated Mar-a-Lago as his primary residence since 2019.

When did you wake up from your coma?
I literally didn't even realize he officially changed his residenCy status.

Won't change much though. He's probably going to lose access to trump tower once the New York AG is done Is with the trump organization. Since the trump organization and not Donald Trump himself are the one to own the tower. If the organization is banned From Is owning and managing real estate In New York State, Then they're gonna be required to sell any interest they have in the tower including Donald Trump's apartment located there. The lease he has with The trump organization To live in the Apartment wouldn't didn't be valid once the tower is sold so he wouldn't be allowed to live there unless he signed a new lease with the new owner.

This is probably one of the reasons why he chose to change his residence to Florida. His attorney's probably warned him that he might lose Trump tower as a residence and suggested he moved permanently to mor a largo.

Trump owns a unit in the building, moron. He can't be banned from entering his own property. They can't force him to sell a property that isn't being leased. I doubt they can force him to sell any property he owns in New York.

The reasons he chose to change his Residency are:
#1: He'll save millions of dollars in taxes every year
#2: New York sucks.
#3: The government officials in New York are a bunch of douchebags suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and they will do whatever they can to screw him.
To sum up: you're an imbecile

No he doesn't the trump organization owns the entire tower. He leases the apartments from the trump organization so that he doesn't have to pay Is personal property taxes on it and pays all the taxes Through his company.

They can't tell him he can't lease a property for his personal use.

This article says he owns it:

What Real Estate Does Trump Own in NYC Anyway?

Furthermore, your characterization of the lawsuit by Letitia James is incorrect. According to the article:

it would permanently bar Trump and his three eldest kids from serving as officers or directors in any New York corporation and ban his company from signing New York real-estate deals for five years
It doesn't force him to sell any of his properties. I doubt such an order by a judge would be constitutional.

He owns it because he owns 100% of the trump organization. But the official ownership of the building is through the company not as personal property.

But if the trump organization is forced to sell it due to them being banned from owning an operating real estate in the state, Then the company will be forced to sell their interest.

The only way he would retain ownership of it in any way if that happens is if he transferred the entire building to himself But even then he wouldn't be able to rent out the rest of the property since The band would likely be a ban on him running a real estate company in the Which would prohibit him from owning large scale rental property.
There's no point in him owning the building Personally if hes not allowed to actually rent the offices and retail Spots out to other people or companies.

So the most likely thing that would happened is that the company Would sell their interest in the building to Another real estate company.

Nope. It's his personal property. He doesn't get to use it because he runs the Trump organization. It's in his name, not the name of Trump Inc.

Trump Inc. can't sell it. They don't own it.

Get this through your head: Trump Inc. doesn't own it.

I'm sure Trump is one step ahead of the NY government. All he has to do is form a new company. He's probably on it already.

Trump has never filed for bankruptcy. His companies have at times, but not him personally. Thats why he has a private 737 just for funzies. He has TONS of money.

Trump has screwed investors, banks, contractors, vendors and wives for over 40 years.
