The truth has a liberal bias.

Liberals wouldn't know the truth it kicked em in the crotch.

Liberals, they're relativists.

Relativism, rejects objectivity.

Objectivity is ESSENTIAL to truth, trust, morality and justice.

Meaning: No objectivity, no truth. No truth, no trust. No trust, no Morality. No Morality, no Justice.

Once one comes to understand THAT, one quickly understands why cultures infected with socialism, crash and burn. Because, there is no potential for an alternative.

Socialism is a set of foreign ideas which are hostile to sound, sustanable reasoning.

There's always a political media bias no matter who you're using. But if you're watching Fox there's no liberal bias but rather a conservative bias. If you're watching MSNBC there's a liberal bias, if CNN a slightly liberal dominant bias but they're moving more towards the center lately which is good. But everyone has a bias one way or the other. You can't relate news without a bias or you're simply stating the facts of what's happened with no explanation or context. That'd be unwatchable dull and useless. Once you explain the context you're automatically including your own bias.

so you don't believe in SCOTUS cases being evidence?

Stupid fucking question only the right wingers would think makes sense

There is no THE MEDIA.

"2014 New Year's Resolution: Limit exposure to nasty, toxic, hateful people - in real life and online."

Good advice. Course G-d gave us that thousands of years ago in Lev 19 with 'don't hate your brother in your heart.' And elsewhere with 'don't be a gossipmonger;' 'don't wrong others in speech' etc. :)

I find the bias in the media is toward inciting conflict and stirring ratings and reactions.

It is not about promoting solutions from either the left or the right,
hence the mutual objections from both sides that the media is biased the other way.

from the REAL left viewpoint, what they see as mainstream they call conservative
from the REAL right viewpoint, what they see as mainstream they call leftist liberalism

They are talking about the same BS

As for Obama, remember that the far left for singlepayer also disapprove of this ACA plan
and understand the point is to push to get the corporate insurance lobby out of the way

I don't see that in the media
only Obama lobbying for this plan as representing the liberal push for health care
and the right responding with nixes and nays

but never showing that the left opposes ACA
maybe because they are being silent and letting Obama and the GOP fight this out
hoping they will get what they want

I also found the GOP leaders not necessarily willing to fight but
pushing for ACA to fail on its own so it looks like the Democrats fault
so they aren't really trying to correct it either but waiting until after it fails

so both left and right are waiting while blaming the other group
and neither side is working to correct what is wrong with this plan

that's why you don't see the true left in the media
only the commercialized left vs the commercialized right
the true left and true right are silenced by their own parties playing politics in the media

I am watching a replay on C-SPAN of this morning's Washington Journal. Ken Walsh, who is the Senior White House corespondent for U.S. News & World Report, is giving a preview of the State of the Union address tonight. Mr. Walsh just stated the reason the extension of the unemployment insurance benefits did not pass is because Republicans did not get the offset they wanted, which is a flat out lie. This is yet again another example where the rightwing guest will flat out lie and the host will not call him on it. I understand C-SPAN might be a little more limited on that than others. I am not in any way suggesting C-SPAN bias but U.S. News & World Report sure is. All those complementary issues left at the door of the hotel room for traveling business people or in the lobby are spewing bs. Speaking the truth is liberal I guess. That was not the reason the Republicans Senators, all but one that is, voted against the bill. If speaking the truth is liberalism than I am indeed a liberal. (The one Republican who voted for the bill was Senator Dean Heller from Nevada.)
