Is the Federal government the enemy of the American People?

I think that has been evident since the War Between the States...a war that could have been and should have been avoided...unfortunately Mr. Lincoln wanted war.

Irregardless it has become more and more evident that the Feds whether intentionaly or not are doing great harm to America.

It appears that the Feds are controlled by those who believe in order to save America it must first be destroyed...not realizing if they are sucessful...there will be no come back.

Our federal government has been insidiously slipping into fascism for over a generation

Much of what is legislated contradicts our constitution

Take a fuckin chill pill moron

It's hard to imagine any form of government being able to work in a predominantly racist society.

Sadly, the next phase for America will have to be an attempt to eliminate the blacks. (and possibly the browns too) Trump's agenda quite openly hints of that solution.
Fuckkng pretend left wing (Kremlin stooge)

So, I take it you're a proponent of a 'Third Way'? Not Capitalism, not 'communism'?

That leaves National Socialism and Fascism, or offshoots of one of those two. Of course, you may believe in State-Directed Capitalism like the Chines have.... With One-Party rule.

You're in good company. Hitler, Mussolini and Mao? Yep, suits you.
Oh fuck off with that garbage.

The Framers of the Constitution understood that the federal government would pose a threat to the American Republic unless its powers were tightly constrained. Unscrupulous politicians have used wars to trash those constraints in order to give themselves more power. And still do.

The framers of the Constitution were organizing a government for 13 coastal colonies with agrarian economies and vastly differing climates and growing seasons. Government had to be local to serve the needs of the people.

Their national needs were few since they proposed not to involve themselves in European politics or state religions.

The Founders had no fear of government. They feared kings and rulers, who put their own needs ahead of their people, and a stratified social structure based in class and birth.

You keep trying to project your fears and paranoia about government onto the Founders, forgetting the times you nation was born into - religious persecution, the Spanish Inquisition, exploitation of the colonies by European monarchs, and rising dissatisfaction with endless European wars of succession and conquest.

Those were their concerns. The Founders wanted a nation free of the costs of endless war, in both blood and treasure, and proposed having no standing army.

What do you have to fear from a government that has no army?

Your limited intellect sees only two choices for anything. There are so many other choices you can make.

There is well regulated capitalism as opposed to free market capitalism. There are mixed economies, constitutional monarchies, and autocratic dictatorships on both sides of the spectrums.

But the limited conservative mind says you’re either a free market capitalist or you’re a communist. There are no other choices.

This is why yours is a failing ideology. Limited intellect and an inability to get yourself out of the messes you create.
