"Before a Palestinian boy was murdered in Plainfield over the weekend, Palestinian, Arab and Muslim communities warned about a rise in hate rhetoric and its impact in response to the war between Israel and Hamas. Then, their worst fear happened. Prosecutors said Joseph Czuba, 71, stabbed 6-year-old Wadea Al-Fayoume 26 times in an attack targeting him and his mother, 32-year-old Hanaan Shahin, because of their religion and nationality. Wadea was laid to rest Monday, and Shahin is in the hospital recovering.


The racist rhetoric is intensified, she said, because of how the discussion of Palestine and Israel is framed by politicians and in news media. "This did not have to be this way," she added. "It was a choice made over the last eight to nine days, by political leadership and members of the press, to give Israel a complete unaccountable monopoly over the narrative and the framework of what's happening in the region."


I am pretty sure the story itself has been posted; but this is more about why the man who did the stabbing isn't considered a hero? At least, he should definitely be hailed as a hero by Israel....you would think there is some pressure they can place on authorities here to allow this man to go free. As I have mentioned before, genocide is the only way to peace, but not just for Israel, but for anywhere that we have Hamas...and if you say this little boy and his mother isn't Hamas, then who are they? How can we be so sure that this kid was not going to be a member of Hamas? Because he lives in the US? That is the goal of Palestinians....try to spread their hatred all over the world.

Now, I personally seen people on this very message board calling this guy a hero, and calling for the genocide of Palestinians, which feels like a good idea - but there is a difference between just shitposting from the comfort of your home or basement....you can't take out Hamas by shitposting...you have to have the balls to do what Joseph did. Will you join him in the fight and do your part to take out these Palestinians who may be lurking in your own neighborhood?

These were palestinian animals, Hamas....he was doing his part to protect his community....how is this not at least something that mitigates what he did?

I have no sympathy for them when way too many of them were on American streets celebrating the terrorist attack on Israel. When a Muslim porn star celebrates the attacks that indicates that the hatred is really ingrained in their psyche. As innocent as that child was; if his death sends a message that the Muslims better moderate their religious doctrine and understand how diversity works.

What about Rashida Talib? She has literally worked with Hamas to help carry out these terrorist attacks....

The kid who was stabbed is due to Hamas, not the guy who stabbed him....if Hamas hadn't done what they did, the kid would still be alive...why punish this man for what Hamas did?

I think that people are innocent generally. Some who speak out on issues in ways I don't agree with don't automatically get killed. And those who don't speak out certainly don't get killed.

Well according to the mother of the dead child, who was also attacked -- she claims he yelled "you Muslims must die" while attacking them.



By all accounts, these people got along in the past and he was very nice to the boy...so the most logical reason is he was mentally ill and snapped.....

Now obviously, if this was the other way around..and she attacked the guy yelling "Jews/Christians must die" -- obviously it wouldn't be excused due to mental illness....

Be honest.....if Israel simply decides to wipe out all Palestinians, who is really going to be hurt by this? The world will move along just fine....even if you call it genocide, outside of the attempt to exterminate the Jews - most other genocides haven't really been that bad
