And are we actually a slave race?

That's gotta be the ultimate conspiracy theory, because it encompasses all others.

And I tend to think it's kinda true. And will argue for it.

Enslaved by whom? Religions about gods are a lie, but God may not be. Big old universe, and there's undoubtedly beings in it we would describe as gods.

Undoubtedly = Without any doubt.
Show us your gathered evidence that caused this to become your reality.
Please. No pictures of uncle Abjab the astrologer. I wonder what happens when you push that button ?

We exist, and despite our youth have achieved many things previously attributed to gods. And much of the universe is vastly older than our little region. Species in such older systems will be much more advanced than us.

I"m so confident this is the case I'm willing to bet your life on it. ;)

Looking a human history it would appear we are a slave race. However, it is man whom enslaves, not God.

We are born free, but it is man who seeks to take such freedoms away, not God.

Statists once claimed to be a god, but that no longer worked they said they spoke for God, but when that no longer worked they claimed that there is no God, thus making themselves the ultimate authority once again.

What if the rest of the universe looks like this planet did before the ice age(and Sarah Palin) ?
Maybe the rest of anything else we call'alive" is nothing more than primitive plant and animal species that never had a need to evolve. You know. Like Muslims and Galapagos tortii.

The original Sumerian texts said that we were created as a slave race, to help mine minerals from the earth, because it would help relieve the labor of the Anunnaki. So the AD.IM ("from earth") was created. And after a lot of tinkering, we really helped them out. Until we finished, and were no longer necessary...

So the conflict we have today, is still the original conflict of Enki vs Enlil. And the question of whether we should be allowed to live for growth, or just be wiped out completely for profit.

That seemingly eternal war is still going on in front of our eyes, if you can see it.

I follow Enki. He my man!

God is a myth. It is the inverse of scripture. Man created God in his own image, thus God is a man, God is angry, God is jealous, God is love...

Sumaria is one of the first recorded civilizations. It was there that collectivism was born. Men found that congregating large people together and uniting them under one cause and flag gives them power beyond what they could ordinarily accomplish. They then formed armies and created slaves. No suprise that religious leaders sprung up amongst them to mingle religion and the state as one.

Agreed. A leader can't have armies willing to die in hand-to-hand combat, unless they are heavily invested in the leader. And what better way to get people to die and kill for a leader? Make them believe that their afterlife depends on it. Remember, back then, it was hand-to-hand mortal combat. No long-range rifles or missiles. It was risking your life in knife and sword and fist fights, with a high potential of death, every day. And how else could a ruler get large masses of people to risk that day in and day out? Easy!

If they die, they go to Heaven! (or that particular ruler's version of heaven). They just need to brainwash their subjects over time, and then give the word when the killing is needed. No proof required!

It also helps when they completely kill off anyone that thinks differently, thus they can ensure brainwashing from birth. Those are the best killers! The birthers... They only know one thing from birth, and that is that the ruler is Supreme, and must be followed to the death.

This is still going on today! It's just so sad...

We seriously need an alien intervention, to get this whole religious BS out of our heads, and come to a new spiritual way of thinking that does not require judgement or genocide. Otherwise, it will never happen...

It goes well beyond what one might inherit in the after life as a reward if killed in battle. It also involves what they gain in this world. Remember, one of the greatest motivators is booty. An army invades a city, takes their money and women and have a big party.

Hitler even worked this way. His troops looted all of Western Europe and he provided the Germans with the highest standard of living in the world through socialism and helped pay for it with the Jewish gold. Esentially, Hitler bought their souls.

Whatever you think of Karl Marx, he was certainly right when he described religion as the "opium of the people". Intoxicated with myth, they can be made to do most anything.

And what did Marx provide us? He gave us a materialistic philosophy that equates our existence with socioeconomic status.

It is a never ending war for materialism using government as its weapon to try and redistribute wealth as a means of achieving justice.

I prefer opium.

All wars that used hand-to-hand combat, used a form of religion to make their soldiers willing to die and kill for their ruler. They had no other motive to do so, except to die for the glory of their religion and therefore eternal life.

Communism is another word for "Heaven".

It is an ideal that can never be reached.

But rulers convinced people that it can be reached, and that they need to follow their orders exactly, in order to reach that utopia. They were told that the ultimate glory requires their hard work and sacrifice, and after sufficient brainwashing, they believed that succumbing to Socialism was the way to Communism.

But the obvious truth is that Socialist leaders would never let go of their power. They'd be crazy to do so! So Communism can never exist. But the wool was pulled over the people's eyes, to the point that they were willing to commit genocide and kill millions upon millions of people, based on what their ruler told them was necessary to achieve utopia. Socialism is a form of religion, even though it does not use a "God". It uses the State instead of the "God". But everything else is the same. It is a form of Calvinism and Puritanism, with the term "God" replaced by "State".

No one would know anything about god without religions. So it's very absurde what you say here. And I would say lots of people in the world are a slave of money and/or their own slavehoder mentality. But there are much more possibities. Sins in general are attacking and/or destroying our freedom.

Big old universe, and there's undoubtedly beings in it we would describe as gods.

No one knows anything about such extraterrestrian gods. That's science fiction. I love science ficton - but what you say here has nothing to do with any form of spirituality or knowledge, so it's again absurde what you say here.

No one needs religion if he likes to kill people, to conquer foreign countries or the whole world or to erase all mankind or all life from this planet.

The german poet Novalis (Friedrich von Hardenberg) used Opium. He thought about it as a universal medicine and not as a poison. Drugs have always this 2 components - the abilty to heal and to make free (in the hands of experienced doctors and good healers) and the ability to destroy and to make someone to a slave (in the hands of ignorant diletants and unreal and dishonest persons). This dichotomy was maybe in the mind of Karl Marx - He said once by the way "I am not a Marxist" - when he sat in London and wrote the very poetic words: "Das religiöse Elend ist in einem der Ausdruck des wirklichen Elendes und in einem die Protestation gegen das wirkliche Elend. Die Religion ist der Seufzer der bedrängten Kreatur, das Gemüth einer herzlosen Welt, wie sie der Geist geistloser Zustände ist. Sie ist das Opium des Volks." I hope you can find a good translation, because it's nearly impossible for me to translate this into the english language and in the moment I don't find a translation with "bing". Whatever: Nothing gave in history anyone any right, because Karl Marx wrote this very interesting words, to murder so many people in the world because they did not like to follow the belief atheism. Atheism was itselve the worst drugs of all drugs in China for example, where Mao murdered and genocided during the so called "culture revolution" about 100 million people of lots of different other beliefs.

Christians I think learned their lesson the hard with via Constantine and the Inquisitions and Crusades. You simply can't mix God and the politics of sinful man. Unfortunately, we still have a head of state in the Pope who continues to pander to leftists across the globe by telling women who have abortions that their sins are forgiven and how global warming is destroying the earth and how we need to give more of our money to governments so they can redistribute it to the poor etc. However, in large part the notion that Christians should take up the sword and follow these fools is all but dead.

I see nothing wrong with the message of Christ. He did not mingle the state and religion in any way. All he did was speak the truth and the statists nailed him to a cross for it. In fact, Christ made it clear that his kingdom is not of the world, nor can be of this world. Christians should heed his warnings.

So this brings us to what is wrong with the world as a whole. It is our free will that allows us to mistreat and abuse and coerse others. Statists seek to forcibly take away our free will by various methods to remedy this problem, as where the gospel simply tries to appeal to our inner gut that we need to make ourselves right.

Free will is a curious thing. It's what makes the world a place of misery, but is also something that can make it a better place and something that we demand to preserve. God has never taken it from us, in fact, it is his gift. It is only man who takes it from us.
