European countries, even including the UK, only act like US allies when the US has weak presidents who follow their lead, such as Obama and Clinton, but whenever the US has a strong President who sets his own course, they become adversarial. Despite European encouragements to the ayatollahs to continue their wars across the ME and their sponsor of terrorism around the world, the US will continue to ground the Iranian economy into dust and when the new negotiations begin, these faithless allies will not have earned a seat at the table.
