Just look at Turkey's own "net neutrality" laws that gives government power to suspend the internet, shut off social networks, search and arrest without warrant... all in the interest of fairness and public safety. Lefties policies at work.

This is why the democrats have mobilized the drooling Soros drones to bleat their idiocy. they have the power now to regulate content on the Internet. The biggest blow to the dominance of the left was the loss of control over what information people had access to. Edward Murrow built a propaganda machine that placed information in the hands of the party, to be manipulated as the party saw fit. The rise of Fox News and particularly the Internet broke the managed news controlled by the party.

But with the Internet as a Title II utility, the party can again exert control over what information is allowed to flow to the public. Expect strict regulations on what sort of information is allowed on sites. My guess is that the FCC will go after certain sites for anti-homosexual views to begin with, since all must bow to the queers in this Obamanation.

This is another example to be added to the thread Every Liberal Cause Is Based On A Lie. Is net neutrality about internet speed for end user? They say it is, but if is about the speed, why are they going after its content?

In 2010 Comcast took FCC to court over this. Comcast won.
FCC and Obama then came back with "open internet order".
In 2014 Verizon took them to court and won.
Commies still not giving up, in order to control it, they are reclassifying internet as utility.
Regulating what ISP can or cannot let through their lines will bring censorship. Free speech? I don't think so.

You are completely right. Net neutrality is a lie and was always a lie. Wired spun a myth about the backbone operators lowering the QOS on porn sites, which got the OWS morons up in a lather. Business shouldn't get a better connection than a pervert in moms basement watching young Ukrainian girls get anal... Swimfan got twitterpated at the idea that his Everquest game might take a back seat to a heart surgeon on a telepresence link - NO FAIR.

But of course, that isn't even what the FCC addressed. Now the Internet is a Title II public utility - meaning the FCC can impose "decency standards." Don't worry Swimfan, the little Ukrainian girls will still be there, the FCC will make sure to focus on dissent against Homosexuality and criticism of Obama.
