Five cops slowly killing a suspect by torture is an extremely rare event.

Whites getting murdered by minorities is not.

The common by definition is less newsworthy, particularly in the battle for ratings, than the uncommon.

Because blacks killing whites is considered ok today. but if anyone even winks at a black its considered news worthy. george floyd was not tortured . He was a repeat offender fighting the cops and o d ing. The press lied and made him look like a saint, that he is not. The point is you do not see an out cry for whites and us tearing down cities over it.

No, it's not, "Ok" it's simply common and it's politically incorrect for the media outlets to discuss it other than to dismiss those crimes as quickly as possible to move on to the next story if they even touch it at all.

Death by crushing and slow strangulation is torture by any known defection and that's how he was killed.

It doesn't matter how despicable a person he was, the police have a duty and an affirmative responsibility to use no more force than necessary to subdue a subject and thence to protect them from harm.

Reporters on the cable media stations like CNN, MSNBC, FOX, et cetera, when being screened for employment, are asked about their political leanings. If someone says they are pro-republican, you can be sure that CNN and MSNBC won't hire them. The same can be said of someone applying for work at FOX. They aren't going to hire some reporter that sides with the left.
Since most media agencies are on the left, it doesn't fit their narrative of rampant racism in the U.S. to point out that a black male butchered a couple of white people. If it was a black couple and a white murderer, the leftist media would be all over it, as it would fit their perverse narrative.
The disturbing part will be what punishment will be given as the murderer is a minority. It should be the same, no matter skin color, but things have really gotten twisted these days, especially in the Democrat run enclaves.

I'll agree that white people getting killed doesn't make headlines as easily. That's not the same as it being okay to kill whites.
White lives matter less by what is considered by some to be the most important metric in America today -- media coverage.

he was not crushed, he o 'd.
tthere was no evidence of crushing in the autopsy.

Is there actual evidence of this or merely a presumption?
I do not have evidence, but to think that a pro-leftist head of a news agency would hire reporters that disagree with his world view on politics, would not be logical. Employers can't discriminate against people based upon several things, but politics isn't one of them.
