Indictment Handed Down in J6 Investigation

Donald Trump on Friday called on the Supreme Court, a third of which he appointed, to intervene in his criminal cases as his campaign’s finances remain under strain due to his mounting legal battles.

In a post on this Truth Social platform, Trump implied that President Joe Biden along with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Attorney General Merrick Garland have brought “a barrage of weak lawsuits” against him, which require a huge amount of time and money to fight in court.

“Resources that would have gone into Ads and Rallies, will now have to be spent fighting these Radical Left Thugs in numerous courts throughout the Country,” he wrote.

Trump repeated his claim that the legal troubles he brought upon himself amount to “election interference” on the part of Biden’s allies.

“The Supreme Court must intercede,” he added.

Hmm? One day(!) after the Archer testimony.

Jack Smith, getting ready to make his personal appearance, and attempt to make us believe this isn't completely political

But yeah, again, an indictment immediately following bad news for Biden a day earlier.

DOJ Asks Court To Protect Evidence After "Chilling" Trump Social Media Post.

Aug. 5 (UPI) -- Prosecutors handling former President Donald Trump's election fraud case have appealed to the judge to protect their evidence after Trump posted social media comments they said could have a "chilling" effect on witnesses.

Attorneys with special counsel Jack Smith's office made the request in a filing late Friday before U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan in the wake of a Truth Social post by Trump in which the former president wrote, "IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I'M COMING AFTER YOU!"

Critics claimed the post amounted to witness intimidation while prosecutors cited it as an example of how Trump is capable of using his social media platforms to reveal evidence handed over to his attorneys through the discovery process.

His disclosure of evidence, they said, "could have a harmful chilling effect on witnesses or adversely affect the fair administration of justice in this case," while appealing to Chutkan to issue a protective order preventing the former president from improperly sharing case materials.

The House select committee that investigated the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 failed to adequately preserve documents, data and video depositions – including communications it had with the Biden White House that are still missing – according to the Republican lawmaker overseeing the GOP investigation into the committee's work.

The now-disbanded "J6" committee, which was run by Democrats and included only two GOP members, has also failed to provide any evidence that it looked into Capitol Hill security failures on the day of the riot, Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the Committee on House Administration, told Fox News Digital.

Loudermilk said his staff has had difficulty gathering all the information it needs to investigate Rep. Bennie Thompson’s handling of the J6 investigation.
