President Biden needs to get two or three people around him that will help him keep perspective about partisan things. His speech in Wilkes Barre today was the speech of a partisan hack he lowered the office of the Presidency, the Presidency provides a bully pulpit for the nation and it should be used with humbleness and virtue. The sad thing is that a significant part of President Biden's speech was excellent when he was talking about assault weapons bans and that the nation does not need these weapons of war on our streets and that some of the children at Uvalde had to be identified by DNA because the bullets fired from the AR15 blew apart the head area of the children victims. But the country does not need the partisan spin the vast vast majority of Republicans believe Jan 6 was wrong and similarly they can believe that many of the people that went to the Capitol that day were great Patriots. Joe fair Americans believe that if it wasn't for the leadership of the Capitol Police failing to do their job they should have been prepared for an angry mob they should have had high fencing to protect the capitol not this four foot high crowd directing fences, America would never have experienced this world wide embarrassment. Fair people believe that January 6th was a foreseeable angry protest that got out of control because law enforcement leadership dropped the ball and considering that at the nation's political conventions civil unrest protesters most of the time only get slapped on the wrist that it will be the case that a Republican President in the future will pardon all the Jan 6th protestors unless they caused significant bodily injury to a law enforcement officer and the majority of the American people will support such a resolution.

President Biden doesn't fully get it on the unsafe neighborhood problems yes he is right to be against defunding the police but the country has a problem with good people not wanting to be cops because elected officials like Joe Biden and a lot of his Democrat colleagues don't have cops backs. Many smart good young people that have a pull to be a cop think it is too problematic to be a cop with the political environment of today you have Biden's Police registry that will to quickly tag a person as a bad cop when it doesn't lie. It would be okay if the registry was just for cops that lost their job because of violence or criminal behavior so they couldn't go join another police force but this Executive Order wants to capture in the registry net cops who are found to have violated police procedures on the use of force. The reality of America today is that many people don't respect cops it isn't like to a large degree the old days where you obeyed cops and if they told you you were under arrest you cooperated with them now many people believe they have the right to physically resist being arrested so cops are forced to use force and so we shouldn't be so quick to destroy cops reputations with this overly broad national registry. Plus taking away qualified immunity from cops and subjecting them and their family to financial ruin from civil lawsuits, politicians supporting this inconsiderate, financially opportunistic, betrayal by selling out to plaintiff lawyers and irresponsible policy are to a major degree anti-cop and anti-public safety.

Joe Biden is a little clueless, most people when they think of what it means to be MAGA they believe it to be for things like American manufacturing, American middle class jobs, home ownership, a dignified retirement, affordable health care, good schools and a wholesome America. Joe Biden is acting like a partisan hack saying that Maga Republicans don't support law enforcement if they don't condemn January 6th ; hey Joe do they also have to hang pictures of Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger on their kitchen wall too! He acts like a real knit wit with his remarks like this!

He's always been a mean-spirited POS.....All this is nothing new unless you count the addition of dementia for that extra hint of mental decay.
Mean spirited? Were you a fan of the insurrection?

"I used to be, in the old days, a pretty good athlete," President Biden says. "And if someone was really big and tough you'd say, 'I wouldn't screw with him if I had a sledgehammer.' I tell ya what, Fetterman's a hell of a guy."
