In the USA there is no limit to what a federal judge can do. They have in the past ruled that cities have had to raise taxes, they have co-opted powers reserved exclusively to the Executive branch and done much worse to our Republic than these things.

In the UK they actually will remove bad judges, even for being rude in online forums as in this case.

My Gawd, people, if the Brits have enough sense to get rid of bad judges, then why cant we do so as well?
