In North Carolina, audience shrinking for Trump's message

They ain't the best jobs in the world but they are jobs that keep them in their homes and their kids fed. Some of them even manage to work hard enough to put their own kids college.

Ahhhh, there lies the "problem".....Those hard working parents send their kids to college....and those kids wind up diametrically different in their political beliefs as those good parents........
One has to "wonders" why that happens and why such is so, don;t you think?

T-rump is toast here in NC as is the far right governor McCracka and his cabal of bible thumpers in the state house

Voters are flowing into the state at a firehose rate — young, educated and many to take high-paying jobs when they arrive. They're coming from everywhere and quickly diluting North Carolina's conservative political underpinnings.

"Clinton is winning," said North Carolina Republican pollster Michael Luethy. "Particularly because folks who have moved to the state in the last five years are very different voters. They're persuaded by a different issue set than those have been here a while."

...AND now, with Trumpusconi REVERSING his stance on sending illegals back and REVERSING his anti-immigration rhetoric, one wonders if he stands to lose Texas also.........Interesting times !!!

“On the road to the 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House, the inability of Trump's message on trade to win over voters such as Snyder in North Carolina is a major problem for the Republican nominee. A win here and in neighboring Virginia would open a path for Clinton reach 270 even if Trump captures the traditional powerhouse battlegrounds of Ohio and Florida.”

True.

In fact, Clinton can get to 270 without Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina with a win in Virginia.

North Carolina is a good bellwether state, that Trump is struggling and behind in the polls indicates he won’t be able to flip the blue states he needs to win, such as Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.

Rump's already losing NC, and losing Virginia bigger. He's even behind in Georgia. And if that's not serious enough Mississippi and South Carolina are teetering. Elsewhere AridZona has already turned. From all indications it's gonna be a rout.

Are you saying that those opinions that they come out of college with are superior to the ones of people who didn't go to college? What makes their opinions so much superior?

NO....I'm not stating "superiority" here......But a college education DOES afford a graduate some measure of objectivity and through that objectivity, graduates become more progressive rather than "conserving" outdated ideas such as, "how in the world could a half black guy be sitting in the oval office?"

You claim to not be claiming any kind of superiority because someone has a college degree but then you say people who have a college degree are less racist than people without one. You seem to be implying that the only way someone can not be racist is if they have a college degree and since racism = bad and everything else is good then you are saying that people with college degrees are morally superior to people without them. Has it ever occurred to you that people can not be racist without having a college degree? Were you a racist before you went to college? What about people who read the bible and read where it tells them to love one another. Why is the only path to moral superority through college?

Why is the only path to moral superority through college?

because, the MAIN advantage of a college education is exposure to various ideas versus the "nurture" of one's parents and circle of relatives and friends.

You obviously believe that the only people that can give you an advantage are other people with college degrees. The circle of friends and family who don't have them can't.

The thing about most college degrees is that they are built for people with average intelligence because a degree in theater arts doesn't require you to be an Einstein. People with average intelligence goes in, they learn a lot, and they still leave with the same average intelligence that they had before. Are we suppose to think that these average people are somehow better at making everyone else around them better?
