The risk vs reward in signing Webb coming back from an injury is much more favorable than signing the much older and bloated Colon who has also been out of baseball for more than a year and prolly has about a 5% chance of breaking into the rotation at all this year.

Frankly, I'm a lil surprised the Red Sox didn't make a run at Webb themselves.

In any case, I like Philly to go all the way in 2011.

Look how far they went last year with all the injuries they dealt with, too. I think only Boston had a bigger injury burden.

But the caveat is that the rotation stayed healthy. We could actually LOSE a Halladay or a Lee to an injury and probably STILL make the postseason
