There were 4 investigations into the matter, Mueller's was 2+ years.

Trump didn't collude with Russia. As for as most Americans are concerned, Trump could have unzipped his pants and pissed on Mueller while he conducting the investigation. All that matters is Trump didn't collude. If they did not let Hillary walk, they would have at least had a some ground to stand on. But, if Clinton can bash her devices with a hammer and delete and wipe her servers, than Trump's angry behavior is nothing.
