At least some Republicans are getting a little smarter as the Dems move further to the left

No, they aren't.
You woud not support a Republican even if he/she switched to some third party
You woud not support a Republican even if he/she switched to some third party
Party affiliation means nothing to me.
I vote according to the issues I believe in.
You vote along brainless party lines.
To each his own.
How does it feel knowing VP Cheney has a higher approval number then Harry Reid?
No wonder libs are in a tizzy
Harry Reid is not accountable to the American people at large while Cheney is. Therefore, the only numbers that matter when it comes to Reid are those of Nevada but Cheney on the other hand is accountable to the entirety of the American people which means that when you compare their numbers you cannot compare Reid's against those of Cheney using the same polling source because that would be like comparing the approval rating of George Bush and Gordon Brown when you have used the opinion polls of people that Gordon Brown does not answer to and say "ah ha, look at how low much higher President Bush's approval number is compared to Prime Minister Gordon Snow." The only way you would be able to do so would be if you took the approval rating that the British gave to Gordon Snow and compared it against the approval rating Americans give to Bush. This goes for Cheney and Reid as well. You must compare the national polls rating Dick Cheney against the state polls of Nevada rating Reid. Why? Because the opinions of someone in Rhode Island means shit when it comes to the Senator from Nevada just like the opinion Americans have of the Prime Minister of another country means shit.
I know that
In 04 they were screaming for more troops to be sent to Iraq
As soon as Pres Bush said the same thing - they were against it
Now they ARE foaming at the mouth to surrender in Iraq
In '04 they wanted more troops sent to Iraq because it was painfully obvious, even then, to anyone outside the Bush bubble that the forces on the ground were insufficient to the task.
And let's not forget they, like the Republicans, were and are more interested in furthering their political fortunes than in doing what is right. Had Congress actually done the right thing be fore the invasion of Iraq, we would never have gone there.
