Immigration is Destroying America.

What's heartening to consider is that today's immigrants, like those who came before them, are learning English, assimilating to American culture, and becoming part of the fabric of our nation while adding to its richness. The melting pot is still simmering away. Most of the misconceptions that cause fear and outrage among the ignorant, misinformed, or merely weak-minded stem from yet more ill-considered attempts at fucking with our social fabric from the left. As always, they undertake this destructive behavior when they feel the need to control some population, pander for votes, or undermine for the sake of undermining as if they really cannot conceive that "change" can be for the worse as well as for the better.

Despite the machinations, manipulations, and shameless pandering from the left, today's immigrants are assimilating just as those before them did and those after them will.

And I should add: Despite the very poorly told lies and/or illogically drawn conclusions of loons on the internet with an agenda to push. The FACTS are as I've described them, complete with extensive supporting evidence.

The loss of skilled US jobs to immigrants given H1B visas has been escalating. There is a cap on the number of these visas issued of 65,000 per year (while millions of Americans, skilled and unskilled, watch from the unemployment lines). First thing that comes to my mind is 65,000 skilled American workers who would like to have one of those jobs, and instead they're being handed on a silver platter to foreigners.

If there was a labor shortage that would be understandable, but as the director of the National Society of Black Engineers said on the Lou Dobbs Tonight TV show, "when there's a labor shortage wages go up. But they're not up, they're down." Well of course. This is all in line with why these visas are being issued . To boost companies' profits with cheap, foreign labor (at the expense of the American worker)

And the troubling escalation of this trend is reflected in the time taken to fill the statutory H1B visas cap of 65,000 per year, which for the first time in several years was filled in 5 days in 2013, compared to 300 days in 2010. . These trends will help sustain remittance flows from the US to the rest of the world, further weakening the US economy. See figure 11 chart in the link article.

Well, I do believe that "all" nations have the right to control their borders and in doing so, control who may enter and who may not. Thus, if you slip over a border into a nation without going through proper procedures, you should be detained and tossed out.

Immigration doesn't hurt anyone unless you are an ignorant dunderhead who blames failure on everyone else but themselves. Yes, immigrants need to learn the language and respect the culture, but beyond that, if they are stealing your dream of a double wide trailer, that is your fault and perhaps you should make an effort to improve yourself instead of complaining all of the time. Pussies!

Many people simply refuse to accept this obvious conclusion. Upon deeper checking into their background, it is often revealed that they have a VESTED INTEREST in supporting immigration (despite its harm to America)

Examples of some of these VESTED INTERESTS are: >>>

1. Businesses wanting cheap labor to reduce costs & boost profits.

2. Churches wanting parishoners to fill their empty pews.

3. Unions wanting members to replace their declining memberships.

4. Spanish media NEEDING Spanish-only speakers.

5. Ethnocentrist organizations wanting immigrants to multiply their race, for racist reasons (ex. La Raza- "the race")

6. Democrats seek VOTES (and get them).

7. Terrorists come in to enact terrorism (ex. the 9-11 hijackers came in on visas)

8. Anchor baby parents who become LEGALLY entitled to welfare benefits by having the pregnant woman give birth on the American side of the border. And then help themselves to a lifetime of benefits (more immigrants are receiving welfare benefits than native-born Americans).

9. Mexico - remittances$$$ from the USA are their second largest source of income (second only to their oil exports) Mexico also benefits immensely by dumping their poor people on the US, as we then stupidly pay their poverty bill for them. Other countries also benefit from remittances and poverty dumping.

10. Mexico's Reconquista of the American southwest. I take the Mexican govt at it's word when it says that is exactly its plan.

I like your avatar. I play 3 of Jimi's songs on the 6 string (Purple Haze, Hey Joe, & Foxy Lady)

As for your post >>>

Harms of Immigration

1. Americans lose jobs. (especially Whites due to affirmative action).

2. Wage reduction.

3. Tax $ lost (due to off books work + lower wages paid).

4. Remittance $$$ lost. ($170 Billion year).

5. Tax $$ lost to immigrants on welfare.

6. Increased crime.

7. Increased traffic congestion.

8. Increased pollution.

9. Overcrowding in hospital ERs.

10. Overcrowding in recreational facilities.

11. Overcrowding in government offices.

12. Overcrowding in schools.

13. Decrease in funds available for entitlements.

14. Cultural erosion.

15. Overuse of scarce resources (oil, gasoline, fresh water, jobs, electricity, food, etc)

16. Introduction of foreign diseases.

America, 300 Million Strong | Cato Institute

"Even at 300 million, the United States is not “overpopulated.” We remain a vast country with lo (and lots) of open space. One need only gaze out the window at 30,000 feet while flying cross-country to appreciate how much of America remains rural or unpopulated. We could give every American household an acre of land and still fit all 300 million of us in the states of Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri—with the rest of the country set aside as one giant national park.

Nor is the United States suffering a “population explosion.” In fact, our nation’s population growth has been slowing in recent decades. Since 1900, population has grown at an average annual rate of 1.31 percent. But in the past 15 years, the growth rate has slowed to 1.16 percent, and since 2000 the rate has slipped to just below 1 percent. Immigrants help America maintain a steady rate of growth."

All nonsense, which was thoroughly refuted in Post # 95.

One part isn't nonsense >> That "Immigrants help America maintain a steady rate of growth."
They help maintain a steady rate of POPULATION growth, which is the last thing that America needs.

As far as economic growth is concerned, immigrants contribute mightily to economic SHRINKING, due to remittances$$, depriving the US economy of much needed SALES$$$$ + hurting it by reducing tax revenues, and increasing tax expenditures for welfare to immigrants.

So, just to summarize:

The earth is not overpopulated

The United States is nowhere near 'crowded,' let alone "full." We have the capacity to support a far, far, far larger population. That is not the issue that will be facing us in coming decades, however. Quite the contrary.

Today's immigrants, including those from Latin America, are learning English, assimilating, and even out-marrying as fast if not faster than previous waves of immigrants in America's history.

Irrational, frightened little bigots on the internet - including especially those stupid enough to think America's agricultural capacity stopped somewhere in the 1800s - should be either ignored or institutionalized.

None of the above excuses or justifies illegal immigration that violates American sovereignty.

Oh, and immigrants DO contribute to economic growth. Immigrants and the newly naturalized are more likely to be entrepreneurs than those born in the US.
