Immediate consequences of repealing Affordable Care Act

Its odd that Republicans are so bent on repealing a bill that cuts trillions in wasteful spending, expanded health care access to 35millionm people, saves 35,000 lives a year, makes people healthier, and bans fraudulent/unfair insurance practices such as dropping your coverage when you get sick

Cuts trillions in wasted spending? Seriously?

Ezra Klein - The five most promising cost controls in the health-care bill
^ways ACA reduces costs
IMBD board
Invests in community health centers
Invests in computerized health care records, and other new technology.
Reduces drug patents by 2 years.
Requires health insurance companies to spend more money on benefits and less on profits and administration fees.
Invests in comparative effectiveness research.
Creates a completive insurance market for those without employer based health care.
Switches to a payment system that is bundled, and based on the quality of care received instead of the amount of care.
Puts a Pigovian tax on tanning booths
Requires food companies to put accurate and seeable food labels.
Administration simplification such as electronic funds transfers, and elgibitiy simplification

Of which the savings are in the trillions.

Which of those save money?

"Ezra Klein made the biggest mistake that can be made by a liberal — progressive — socialist — communist — no labelist — whatever the heck they call themselves on the 31st of the month.

He was being honest.

He does not believe in the Constitution."

Affordable Care Act Repeal Would Have Immediate Consequences

Get our your checkbooks folks cuz when the conservative judges deliver their Obama smackdown its gonna cost most of us some money.

That's okay though, right? Because all the right cares about is that President Obama gets put in his place.

I just wish the rw's could commit suicide without dragging the rest of us over the cliff with them.

Deal with it, it should not have been allowed.

[Health-care costs rose about 8% in 2011 and are projected to rise by 8.5% in 2012. ]Paul Ryan: Where's Your Budget, Mr. President? - WSJ.com

Are you out of your fucking mind? National health expenditures grew 3.8% in 2009 and 3.9% in 2010. Yes, that's the slowest growth rate in the 51 years CMS has been measuring the National Health Expenditure Accounts.

Get your head out of Paul Ryan's ass.

Suck it up, baby.

We're not so much concerned about ourselves when wanting to repeal this forced communism/socialist law ~ it's our children and the unborn that I want this reversed for. I don't want the unborn and those that aren't old enough to understand and vote yet to be born into and subjected to a north korean lifestyle and a dear leader nanny state. Fuck that shit.

I don't care what it will cost us, it is us that must fix this crap we let happen. Hopefully it will never happen again.

This is America, not a communist/socialist paradise. Why can't you commies go live in what is is already a commie country? Why don't you commies simply open a joint checking account together and have at it? You can still play commie among yourselves without having to force everyone do so too. I don't want to be a commie and I'll help pay the cost of any war to keep America free.
