This is how to pull the reins in on these so called celebrities.

Make and pass a law that says that celebrities, and their producers, and media companies and marketing companies are JUST AS responsible for ANY AND ALL of their media produced, and the societal and individual outcomes of their influence...

As ANY and ALL manufacturers are, for the damages caused by their products, because that's what they are...

They're manufacturers.

They manufacture shows, music and advertisements.

And the wrong influence is no LESS of a bad product, as defective cars, and high powered Guns, Cigarettes and chewing tobacco, cans of beer, and bad medicine.

From now on, the media is responsible for the behavior that it projects onto society, just as much as the makers of bad products are responsible for injuries and deaths that they cause.

And strip mass media artists of the privilege of singing the national anthem at events UNTIL they earn that privilege back.

Culpability doubled for influencing people under 18.
Quadrupled for influencing people under 14.

Or we could send the MSM to GITMO and let them live in a wire cage in the sweltering heat.
Yes people who give people MSM, and the people who use MSM and the makers of it should be sued for whatever damages it causes.

Seems so simple, doesn't it?
NO, not unless you're a dumb fuck, or someone who wants to say 'This guy bombed the XXX because of what you published in your newspaper, so you (the Editor? or the Owner? or the Reporter? Who, exactly?), so you must be responsible, and go to jail for a hundred years!'

The Right Wing Ministry of Hatred and Propaganda would be buried under a mountain of legal action in a week

That's right, when you publish horse shit, you're responsible for what it causes.

Yes it would.
As would Howard Stern, and Vince McMahon and all of his bullshitters too.

This fails as a false comparison fallacy, there is no ‘right’ to manufacture cars or cans of beer, there is a right to free speech and freedom of the press, however.

Consequently, any such ‘law’ would be un-Constitutional, a violation of the First Amendment.

And what might be perceived as ‘wrong influence’ is subjective and personal; indeed, there is no ‘media problem,’ the notion is ridiculous.

A social construct from the late 1700s America doesn't make my argument illogical.

And wrong again...
People have been suing, and complaining for years, that the media doing wrong by us.

This is how I would do it...

Vince McMahon pays for the kids medical bills, after they repeat his show with none of the training and with just pound for pound, incredible raw strength, not any knowledge of the acting skills.

If he had to pay the kid's medical bills, he would think about what he's doing.

Ever hear of libel and slander?

Its easily provable and has been proven that the motive behind repeating things is seeing and hearing things.

Even SSX Tricky has been repeated, even though there is no physics that allows it to be repeated, making it nothing but a giant trip to the hospital, and the morgue.
