If us liberals are socialists and commies rightwingers are fascists

I can play the label game too, fascism is actually typical of far right loons, socialism is not always typical of liberals, no liberal wants to live in a country without freedom of speech and religion and zero opportunity to maximize their potential.

You need to read "The Road to Serfdom" by Friedrich von Hayek. Modern-day liberalism inevitably leads to socialist or fascist oppression and tyranny and the serfdom of the individual.

When they serialize it in the HuffPuff, Fail&Won'tGo might read it.

You need to expand your reading list; reading only those who agree with your idological worldview make CG dull and so very predictable.

You do realize that pretending you know what my reading list includes makes you look stupid.... unless, of course, you can provide evidence of said list.

How predictably stupid of you, WhineCrapper.

The difference is collectivism which is socialism and fascism (liberals) versus Conservative which is individualism.

The Fascists were collectivists.

Wingnuts don't even know what fascism is.

WHAT? That IS what I said - Fascists are collectivists and conservative is individualists.

Extremes are generally one brand of Totalitarianism or another. Does it really matter who made the bars to the prison, or who owns the land that the mass graves are buried under???

Very true. Which is why thinking people support a mixed economic system. A system which provides for checks and balances, exposes abuses and punishes those who prey on others.

We agree. In our own way's we Each root out and confront Predators. I am Free Market, with Safety Nets, not big on Monopolies though.

We are talking about right vs left. Try to pay attention

Besides, there are no conservatives on the right. The right doesn't want to conserve anything; The right wants radical change

You obviously have no idea what Fascism really means and who pushes it.
Fascism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fascists believe that a nation is an organic community that requires strong leadership, singular collective identity, and the will and ability to commit violence and wage war in order to keep the nation strong. They claim that culture is created by the collective national society and its state, that cultural ideas are what give individuals identity, and thus they reject individualism. Viewing the nation as an integrated collective community, they see pluralism (Individualism) as a dysfunctional aspect of society, and justify a totalitarian state as a means to represent the nation in its entirety.
Who's always trying to "level the playing field" through "social engineering"? Liberals.

Fascists weren't at all Liberal. There were a nexus of goverment/business and religion. There were exclusionary of rival viewpoints. That's not Liberal at all. It is however, very conservative.

Any form of government is collectivism.

Conservatives, aren't for the most part, pro-individualism. Conservatives favor governments like Monarchies, Theocracies, Aristocracies, Authoritarian and Plutocracies.

No, not "conservative". There is nothing "conservative" about wanting to exclude and censor rival viewpoints. Radical change like that is the opposite of what conservatives support. The people who dishonestly call themselves "conservatives" are actually "rightwingers"

There is nothing conservative about censoring idea, but it is very rightwing.

Traditional conservatism is not radical.

There are no "traditional conservative" movements in the US of any significance. All of the conservative movements are either radical, or insignificant.

Actually, it's the rightwing who is trying to engage in social engineering by passing laws to control people's behavior. The right wants the govt to control abortion, prayer, education, sexual behavior, and many other areas of our personal lives.

In fact, that entire quote from Wiki applies to the american rightwing. They're the ones who are always whining about individualism and how the nation is an integrated collective community (ie "American values") that is threatened by individuals who don't share their beliefs. Just look at how often the right declares certain individuals, including the president, to be "unamerican"
Wrong idiot. It is the leftwing commies that want to control everything, hence the biggest gov't. control bill in history, obamacare. Stop lying.

I see you haven't yet figured out the difference between your fevered fantasies and reality. It'll make a funny sound when they collide.

You're problem is that fascism is another creation of the left. See there is a spectrum:

Left ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Right

More Government ------------------------------------------------------------------- Less Government

Totalitarian -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anarchy

Fascism is a Totalitarian regime. Hence, it's on the left. You can't reach facism by implimenting less government. It's simply not possible.

The Far right is Anarchy. Few people advocate anarchy. And then it's usually so there will be chaos and they can seize control.

When you can explain to me how eliminating government controls in more and more areas of life leads to fascism, you might be able to convince me that Fascism is a thing of the right. Until then, you just have to deal with reality.

Oh, and if liberals dont want to live in a country without freedom of speech, religion and zero opportunities, why on earth are they advocating restrictions on speech, religion, and trying to micromanage people's lives?
