If this is true, Panetta should resign

Chain of command and the superiors got their orders from? and from ....

hey moron, the chain doesn't always go very far up. orders can be given at any level. :cuckoo:

A Sgt's orders do not necessarily come from the CinC

btw, a Commander of a base is usually in charge of his/her base

And if he was hung out to dry by someone above him they would have stated so.
Same old story. All ifs and maybes and no facts.
This was a command decision. We can argue all day long why it was a bad decision and I believe it was a bad decision but to lay blame on Panetta because folk do not like him without any evidence is beyond stupid.
:clap2:

Gadly I was curious so I decided to get some pics of Afghan Army soldiers, so we could see who our General wants our Marines to look like/

Those Afghan Military guys aren't even in the same class as our Marines.

Are you kidding? Hell they ain't even in the same class as the American militia.:D

Young man that I coached in rec ball for 6 years and my son has been friends with for 20+ years came home from 2 tours in Afghanistan with a souvenir, an Afghani issued Canadian C7 assault rifle that had been used by Afghani troops "fighting" beside American troops.
Damn thing looks brand new as the story behind the rifles the Afghans tote is:
"like new, only dropped once"

The hardened troops are on the other side over there sports fans.
Those guys ran the Russians off.
As soon as we negotiate with them and get the hell out of there the better.
Some of the northern tribes are great troops that are on our side are as good or better than ours.
Just the facts maam.
