If socialism is such a utopia, so much better than the free market enterprise in a monetary system

Let us face it, this country is pretty much in a socialist style right now. There are some elements of the free market that still exists. I guess.

I mean Uber is an innovation that is thriving. Of course not with out massive flack from local governments. Putting mass resistance in virtually every place it has been, but much to the dismay of the politicians who are bought by the taxi unions, they have been forced to concede to the high demand of the voter. You know, you and me.

However, it is less and less so and we all know it. How controlled are we by regulations? Well, just watch this piece from a few years ago. I am sure you all watched this, but just watch it again.

Of course the left wingers who chant for socialism (the pawns do that every day cause they are the grass is greener idiots) who have never lived in those conditions cannot really answer these very simple questions.

If things are so much better in socialist countries then please explain to all us why it so many citizens of those great systems try to get here from there?

Why is it if things are so horrible here under the free market that we use to enjoy are not desperately trying to get out of here, to those socialist utopias?

Let me know what the immigration rates as opposed to the emigration rates. I could be wrong. Are there massive numbers of poor Americans desperately trying to get to Cuba and their great medical system?

Are Americans jumping the Rio grande desperately trying to get to Mexico or South America? How about China? Massive numbers of Americans desperately trying to stow away on cargo ships to get there?

No?

Huh.

Go and explain it to us. I would prefer if one of you actually lived in socialist conditions. No, if you were RICH and living the socialist conditions, that really does not count. If you are rich, you could probably have a great time in Somalia.

No, I want you to explain to us why Americans are not desperately trying to escape America and the tyranny of the free market.

Man, they sure have it bad here don't they?

Can you name those liberals?

No, you can't. Because it's just another dishonest strawman you made up, since you're not capable of addressing what liberals actually say.

Here's a thought. Be honest. Make your comparison, to, say, Sweden or Germany or Canada. Are any people trying to escape those hellholes and come to the USA?

Oh, more Mexicans are leaving the USA than coming here now. If the USA is so perfect, why is that happening?

1) Free market is not a monetary system

2) USA is not a socialist 3rd world hell hole...

3) ... Thank god, but it will be if the regressives get their way.

Well, here is one:

Oops.... And he ain't doing bad in the polls either.

I did not say it was. I said free market WITHIN a monetary system.

I get what you are saying, but it's funny thing to say considering that the monetary system is one of the most socialistic (and failing, as would be predicted) elements of the market in the USA.

Dear mamooth how about Pelosi and Obama who
want to use federal govt to run exchanges instead of setting them up through their own Democratic Party?

If Catholics want to set up their charities or schools, they expect members to pay for that themselves,
not mandate for the entire public to manage through federal govt.
NOTE this is semi- or quasi-socialistic because the govt is controlling the regulations
but not owning the actual services or companies that the citizens are required by federal tax laws to participate in.

With religion it is done by free choice of participation, funding and affiliation.
Why not with political parties?

Who do political parties get to pass laws requiring their beliefs by mandates on everyone to be complied with
or else pay fines. But if religions did this, that would be denounced as establishing national religion.

So what's the difference?
The Democratic leadership is taking the social agenda and belief that "health care is a right"
and forcing it on everyone through federal govt and tax requirement.

If an organized religious group did that, there would be as much yelling.
Why aren't political organizations and beliefs treated equally as religious beliefs to protect the public?

"If socialism is such a utopia, so much better than the free market enterprise in a monetary system"

Straw man fallacy - no one of merit or consequence advocates for "socialism."

It's too bad they didn't beat the socialist genie back then - now we must do it. Government spending has more than quadrupled relative to GDP in last 100 years and the leftists are still complaining - there won't be an end (thanks for demonstrating that). And yes, the economy and people are much worse for all of these failed programs. Back then economic growth was over 2x the amount it is now. Well done, socialism!

Socialism not working is an economic law... No surprises, it's just theft that is voted on (and the last part is sometimes optional).
