Looks like the Trump supporters are winning at taking DeSantis out. They're all over the internet, social media and forums, bashing him and shaming anyone who supports him. Come to think of it, it looks like they're bullying people into not supporting Ron.
I realize it too early for candidates to start dropping out of the race. (way too early). But let's say the Trump supporters win and DeSantis goes drop out.

So what's next?
Plan A, get Trump the nomination and takes on the democrats nominee.

When/if Trump can't run because of the legal troubles, what's plan B? Vivek? Y'all throwing DeSantis under the bus on a chance that Trump can actually stay in the race? All the while dismissing the fact that if the democrats had the power and influence to falsify an election, that they can also take Trump out legally, just after getting the nomination? <<< That's important. "Just after he gets the nomination." Because then the GOP is stuck with Trump.

It's a genius plan by the democrats, if that's their plan.

If it's after the nomination, and Trumps in jail, on house arrest or in the hospital (Trumps old), then the Trump supporters have thrown one of the best governors we've seen in a long long time, under the bus. Someone with a record of cutting spending and taxes. Someone who didn't cave to the left or let them kick his tail, constantly. Like Trump did.
The left chewed Trump up and spit him out within 2 years of his presidency. And y'all going to throw DeSantis under the bus for that?

Trump supporters are the best friends the democrats have.

Desantis was a fool to think he could beat Trump in the first place.
He would have been a shoe in in 28.

Meatball Ron is even more nuts than Rump. He just hides it better. He probably won't be reelected as Florida Governor with the insanity he's been doing which has cost not just Disney but the entire state of Florida Millions.

Ron is doing what the majority of Floridians want him to do. While Trump has spent his last 2.5 years whining and crying about the election, and making HUGE promises that not even a chancellor could accomplish, DeSantis has been doing some good things in FL.
Cutting spending, Cutting taxes and eliminating some. Rebuilding hurricane damaged roads, bridges and buildings with state money and still ending up with a surplus.

His record is to the right of Trumps. In fact, Trump is so far to the left that I don't get why the left isn't trying to recruit him.

This was Ronda's window.
He's term limited and can't run in 26.
No senate races in FL in 26
Unless he decides to take on Scott after losing the primary his career is over.

I think he was sure the DoJ would take out Trump or that he could turn the base by being even more reactionary than Trump.

He should have supported Trump for the VP slot.
Then, when Trump loses next year he'd be the logical front runner in 28.

Florida governors elections always run during the US midterms. Ron has 2.5 years left. The 2028 election is 5.5 years away.

He's far better than potato head.

Funny, everything shows Meatball Ron is in real trouble. And my friends (Vets) all want to see him just go away. And they are Republicans.

Republicans want a rematch in 2024.

Republicans want vengeance and vindication – that can only happen with Trump as the nominee.

I assume we'd see some names from the past. Kasich would be an example, although he's not my cup of tea.

If Rs had someone conservative and younger than Trump and Biden as their candidate, that was not bat shit crazy as Trump and DeSantis are.... in 2024, they would actually have a shot at winning...imo.

Maybe Tim Scott?

Actually. Democrats aren’t afraid of either. What Democrats don’t want is a rational conservative who is reasonable. That person wins by a hundred electoral college points against Biden. Trump loses against Biden. DeSantis loses by an even bigger margin. Both are viewed as similarly radical. The Moderates just won’t vote for them.

Fully half of the people say they won’t vote for Trump under any circumstances. No imaginable way they would vote for Trump. Even more feel that way about DeSantis. So the two front runners for the nomination are just short of certain to lose the general.

Want to really scare the Democrats and actually win? Look to Nikki Haley. Competent and experienced. The hard part would be convincing the racists to vote for her when they want to see a White Man. Any White Man in the job.

Tim Scott doesn't have the "all-American" look required to get the nomination.

When/if Trump can't run because of the legal troubles
It may have to go to SCOTUS but the constitution is very clear that the ONLY crime that can disqualify a POTUS candidate from running is treason. THAT isn't going to happen. He will be the nominee.

Impeachment if convicted by the Senate disqualifies, and sedition disqualifies.

Both in the constitution.

If/when Trumps the nominee, and can't become POTUS, for what ever reason, what's plan B?

None of the Trump supporters have been able to answer that question.

If he's elected, there's a good chance that Trump will be impeached within the first year.

With all the probabilities (not possibilities), I don't get why anyone would want to take such a huge chance over someone who simply wasn't a good president to start with.

All this sympathy support Trumps getting, boggles the mind.
Oh but we gotta get him back in office because the democrats were mean to him and his own people stabbed him in the back? Yeah na. Revenge isn't a good reason to elect anyone.
Having a good record of cutting spending, reducing the debt, bringing millions of jobs back to the country, cutting taxes (without eliminating tax deductions), ending wars, securing the borders, increasing the USD's buying power, vetoing spending bill, vetoing unconstitutional legislation & getting the right and left to come together for the good of the country.. <<<< Those would be reasons to get Trump back into office. And he did none of those.

Isn't Trump leading DeSantis in the polling in Florida? Serious question. I know he's leading in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.
